Shalini's POV
The rest of the weekend goes quickly and I manage to avoid seeing Kabir. I head out early Thursday to go shopping to buy new clothes to get fill up my small dresser and took half day leave.
Finally, today is Friday which will be followed by the weekend and I'm excited about it.
I wake up extra early to make sure I can take a shower—without girls around crowding in the morning —and not be rushed. My white button-up loose shirt and blue denim jeans are perfectly ironed and ready to be put on. I get dressed, put my hair in a ponytail, and put my backpack over my shoulder. I’m about to leave—about fifteen minutes early, to ensure that I won’t be late for getting my coffee and also to avoid Kabir because from past few days I daily found him in the canteen early morning when I get there to take my coffee.
With one last glance in the mirror, I head to my department after taking my coffee from the canteen.
After several hours of exhausting work, Akshi came to the laboratory and asked me. "you know any Baseer." while breathing heavy.
"Yeah... He is my best friend, what happened?" I asked her getting worried.
"Ohh, Actually, when I was coming to the class, I saw a good looking man on the reception counter asking for you and he mentioned his name Baseer," she said with curiosity.
"WHATTT???"
"Are you sure?" I asked her while the happiness is building inside me.
"Damn sure," she said plainly.
As soon as she said that she is sure about it. I ran towards the reception counter like a madwoman.
Finally, on reaching there, I saw my best friend talking to somebody.
"BASEERRRRRRR!!! " I shouted like anything. He turned towards me and I launched myself into his arms. He immediately returned the bear hug.
We held each other in a bone-crushing hug for a while and then finally looked at each other.
He cupped my cheeks and after looking into my eyes kissed my forehead showing
longingness, that how much he missed me.
"I missed you aaloo," he said while pulling my cheeks.
"I missed you more," I said while giggling.
Little she knew that somebody was watching them from far, filled with irritation and annoyance.
Auther's POV
After spending enough time with each other in the laboratory and telling each other about what is happening in their lives in detail which they always do because They don't hide anything from each other. Finally, Shalini told Baseer everything about Pradeep(that local goon) that what he tried to do with her by threatening her in the name of her family.
Baseer was very furious on listening to what she was saying about Pradeep on which, he got very angry on her also about not telling this to him earlier but she assured him that she is OK now and everything is under control.
she and his father have sorted out things very well.
After that they started to go back to their respective places, Shalini to her hostel room and Baseer is staying at one of his friend's houses 20 minutes away from the shalini's hostel.
He was going to stay in Delhi for two days and about to go back to Hyderabad on Sunday evening. On the way back to the exit gate of the university they again talked about it few minutes.
“Hey, Shallu, I was going to text you about my arrival but then I decided to surprise you,e said whike while his arm was on her shoulders.
“Okay, well, I'm glad you did, I’m also so glad it’s Friday. I am ready for the weekend with you!. Im already excited. " she said while jumping like a small kid.
" I have some work to do here in Delhi tomorrow. So after completing my work tomorrow, we'll go somewhere to have dinner together." he, said.
" Ok Shaktimaan(Indian superhero)"she while ruffling his hair.
" Don't do that, you know I love my hair?" he said? and act like a drama queen. She started laughing.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow evening from your hostel only," he said while getting out of the exit door.
After saying bye to each other, she dashed towards her hostel room.

On Saturday, She spend several hours on her laptop to make up to her pending work all day, even on Saturday which is off today.
Finally, she got a message from Baseer that He'll be here outside the hostel to pick her up in half an hour, obviously this is a girl's hostel so he is not allowed here to enter.
She immediately got out of the bed and sprinted towards the washroom to have a quick shower.
After that she quickly put her regular loose t-shirt and pants with sports shoes, she picked her wallet and phone and quickly get down the stairs of the hostel.
After reaching outside the hostel she saw Baseer was already there waiting for her in a car.
From where he got that car.
When they reached the restaurant, they sat on the table and started checking the menu. Suddenly shalini felt that someone is looking at her,she moved her sight left to right and there he was HE staring at her with cold eyes while sitting on a table a little far from them with his friends.
She ignored him because he's been doing this quite regularly. Staring at her coldly with an unknown emotion.
Then She and Baseer started talking about their good old days and laughing at stupid things they both have done together.
On the hand, he was looking at her giggling and laughing like a man person, for the very first time other than angry or grumpy mood of hers he saw her like this , which he found very cute and adorable. He was noticing her each amd every move while there was music going on in the background.

But he was not able to handle that guy with her who was the reason for her giggles and laughter. Bastered he murmured.
And got up from his chair and after excusing everyone get out of the restaurant.
He was also confused and irritated as he was not himself able to understand what is going inside him.
