Shu Kurenai x Snow White Reader

This scenario was requested by  Kaitlynkpoplover . I'm sorry but I'll like to write it a little my way, different from the snow white story I know. I hope you like it. If there's any other scenario you'd like to read, tell me. I'll try my best to write it.

(Normal POV)

Shu Kurenai and y/n l/n have been friends ever since they were little kids. They like each other more than a friend, but the other doesn't know about it.

Shu was a Prince in (k/n) kingdom. And y/n is a normal girl living in a village closer to the palace. Her parents work in the neighboring kingdom.

Let's take a look at how they first met.

Flashback

Shu was walking through the forest. He ran away from the guards because he wanted to get sometime to himself, and not be surrounded by guards. 

After walking a little deep into the forest, he saw a girl, the same age as him, playing with animals there. He hid behind a bush watching the girl play with them. It warmed his heart for some reason. 

He debated whether he'd go and talk to her or not. But at the end he went back to the castle.

This went on for a few weeks, until he thought that it would be the day he became friends with her.

As usual he came to the spot and hid behind the bushes. He stayed there for a while and then came out of his hiding place.

The sound of the bushes made the girl turn around. "You finally decided to come out of hiding. Let's be friends." The girl said extending her hand towards him, smiling and making the boy confused.

"Wait! You knew about me this whole time? How? And why didn't you do something about it?" He asked her shocked.

"Yes, I knew about you. An animal friend told me. I didn't do something about it because I wanted to see what you'll do about it." She said, grinning. "I'm y/n l/n. Nice to meet you! What's your name?" She said, smiling.

"It's nice to meet you as well. I'm Shu Kurenai and I'd love to be your friend! Umm uh I mean I'd like to be your friend." Shu said.

"Great! Let's play!" She said, pulling him. He blushed. 'Wait! Why am I blushing?' The little boy asked himself in confusion.

After that interaction, they regularly played with each other.

End of Flashback 

People other than the royal family and people working for the royal family didn't know about it.

Somewhere in the forest a witch lived. She's said to be a very beautiful and cruel person. Because of that no one entered that part of the forest.

She was in love with Prince Shu. She almost always kept an eye on him with her magical mirror. And most of the time she saw him with y/n. It made her burning with rage.

"Why that little brat! Always with the Prince! What does she have anyway?!" She screamed with jealousy. Then an idea came to her mind. "I know. Why don't I get rid of her? After that I can use magic to make him fall for me, since it won't work until his love one is dead! Hahaha!" She said, laughing evilly.

Y/n was inside her house, doing chores. 'I should finish my chores soon. Shu should be coming any moment now.' She thought, smiling, giggling at the thought of meeting Shu.

Knock... knock... 

"He's here!" She said as she made her way towards the door. She opened the door but no one was there. She looked down and saw a basket with a letter. She took the letter and read it.

Dear y/n,

Sorry I couldn't come meet you today. So I sent some fresh picked apples from the royal garden instead. I hope you'll like them.

Sincerely,

Shu

"Aww! That was sweet of him! Guess I'll eat them since it's lunch right now." She thought, happy at the gift. 

What she didn't know was that those apples weren't from Shu and that he was actually on his way to meet her.

As soon as she took a bite from the apple, she started to feel dizzy. Then she fell to the ground from her chair.

Shu was walking through the forest, feeling both happy and nervous at the same time since today's the day he'll confess to y/n.

Soon he came to the door and knocked it. Even after a few minutes she didn't open the door. 'Why isn't she opening it? She always opens the door quickly enough. And if she's not at home she leaves a note right outside the door.' Sensing that something is not right he started to tackle the door.

Bang!!

He broke the door open and went inside. "Y/n! Y/n!! Are you here?!!" He started to call for her but no answer.

When he went to the dining room, he saw y/n lying on the floor. 

"Y/n!" He shouted her name and went towards her. He took her on his arms. A bitten apple fell from the palm of her hand. He noticed that she wasn't moving. She wasn't breathing. He took the apple and tested it. It was poisoned.

It didn't take him long to understand what had happened to her. Tears formed in his eyes. Soon it started to run down his face.

He started to blame himself for the lost. In his sorrow, he kissed y/n on her lips and then breaking the kiss, he hugged her tightly and started to scream while crying.

But then suddenly, as if heavens heard his cries, y/n's fingertips started to move.

"Shu?" A faint whisper came from her mouth. "Y/n! You're alive!" He said, still crying.

"Of course. There's no way I'll leave you. Seeing that you're crying like that." Y/n tried to joke, wanting to lighten the mood.

"How can you say something like that now?" Shu said, wiping his tears, blushing lightly.

"Because I love you. I can't bear to see you cry." She said, smiling softly. And then she kissed him.

Shu's eyes widened. But he returned the kiss. After a while they broke the kiss to get some air.

"I love you too, y/n." Shu said, smiling and hugging her. Y/n smiled as well.
