ABC

We all have come across the set of English Alphabets at some stage of our life...See, it goes like this.

A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z

Now our poets saw this and thought,"Now, what's the fun in this. Let us form something interesting with this" and tan tan ta da.....ABC poems!

An ABC poem has a series of lines that create a mood, picture, or feeling. Lines are made up of words and phrases. The first word of line 1 begins with an A, the first word of line 2 begins with a B etc.

NOW MY TURN...

Friend {the word conveys thousands of emotions}

All along the cold storms in the darkness of night

Beside me you were there to hold me tight

Catastrophic was my life because

Depressed and doleful I was

Every second of my life was sad and bad

Friend, you made me live and for that I am glad.

Grief was normal then and I was drown in sorrows

Highs were not there in my life but only lows

Ice was nothing compared to my frozen heart

Joy and fun from my life did depart

key you were, to my life's happiness

Love came and killed loneliness

Many did envy and are jealous

Now that you got me, I got you, and we got us

Open are our doors of joy and glee

Poor regrets and depression did flee

Queens are us to ourselves

Rather let the haters keep all the hate to themselves

So now that we are ready to spread love

Together, hatred away we should shove

Under one roof we live

Various ways are there to survive

Whether we live or not matters

Xerox copies of each other are what we think

Zodiac of mine and god I should thank (for having you)

PS. It is not necessary for the poem to have a constant rhyme scheme.
