Chapter 10 - Such a precious, too kind

"Hey Sunghoon" Jake said, after the short of peaceful silence while eating their ice cream. The two walked side by side on the sideways to what only god knows where.

Sunghoon hummed while savouring the flavour of the ice cream.

"Where are we going?" Sunghoon stared at him for slight seconds before smirking.

"I don't know where we're going, besides eating ice cream. I just wanted a walk" Jake scoffed before he had an idea.

"What dumbass, anyways I have an idea on where to go to"

"Good afternoon Auntie!" Jake greeted the old woman who sat at the desk.

They are right now at a shop, specifically a shop where old and vintage items are sold at.

"Good afternoon Jakey, long time no see" the woman greeted. Jake smiled, scanning through the store before he said his request.

"True is auntie but can I please look at the collections of cameras?"

"Oh yes dear, there are new collections of cameras brought these past few weeks!" The two were brought to a place in the store with several cameras used before, some of it were so old it was kept in a place with glass surrounding it.

"Wow" Sunghoon muttered, looking at the cameras they had.

"Fascinating, isn't it?" Jake scooted close to his face, surprising the younger who happened to bring out a grin from the cameras. He nodded afterwards.

"Hey Hoon, look!" Jake said, forgetting the fact that he could the other with a nickname that brought flutters in his stomach.

"This is the camera during the wars, Sunghoon. It's unbelievable isn't it?" Jake stared at the cameras in awe and wonder. Sunghoon simply nodded his head,

The two started window-shopping on the new collections of cameras it had.

Sunghoon though was too much into thoughts. Some cameras are for being bought, why not buy one instead of looking at it?

Exiting the shop with nothing brought, just the trash from the ice cream which was later disposed once Sunghoon spotted a nearby trash bin.

The walk was peaceful, though none of them knew where they should go.

Sunghoon cleared his throat, gaining attention from the other who swinged his head at him.

"Jake?" Jake hummed, still walking but his attention was at Sunghoon.

"Do you perhaps......go there, frequently?"

"The store? Well, yeah I do. I go there when I'm free and bored" Jake chuckled, reminiscing the times he would happily walk to the store.

"Well, you do know that the cameras can be..bought?" Jake just smiled, looking down at the ground before he looked back at him.

"As bad as I want to buy, I also have the money to buy. It's just I feel like they're too precious to be bought, so it's better to just window shop, admire them through the glass"

Sunghoon smiled, Jake was too precious and too kind. He would rather let them be seen to others than to be eaten in selfishness.

"Oh anyways, I have an idea in mind!"

Sunghoon perked up at the word. "Let's go then, surprise me"
