Summary: you and John B had a dating history but we're still best friends.

It's been a few weeks into looking for the gold and John B had started dating Sarah. I dont why but it hurt me little when they started dating.

We had got Lukes boat and I was helping John B And Sarah with the boat. Me and John B were in the house getting everything they needed till he spoke.

"Thanks for helping us I appreciate it." He said with a small smile on his lips

"No problem, I mean we dont want you to get arrested" I said with a chuckle

"Do you still like me?" He said out of nowhere

"I mean yeah I guess, but that behind us isn't It?"

"Yeah" he said with a chuckle

Than all of a sudden he kissed you on the lips. It was short but passionate. I kissed back not knowing what to do. It was just like when we dated.

I pulled away still in shock wondering why he did that.

"Uh im sorry-" he started but I cut him off

"It's ok, It's...fine" I said trying not to cry

"Let's go Sarahs waiting. Come on John B"

We got the boat ready and when they were done I said goodbye and started to walk off

"Y/N wait!" John B shouted as he ran to me.

"I just wanted to say that..."

"What?" I asked with a bit of worry

"I will never forget you and I will always love you"
he said quietly so only I could hear him

"I love you too"

I wanted to kiss him so bad but I knew Sarah was watching us. So instead, we hugged and I walked away heading back to the others.

Little did I know, that might of been the last time I will see him...
