Fangs flashed towards Jae in the golden-orange torchlight, making Jae flinch against the hard, cold stone ground. Had she the ability to move, she'd have used her arms to shield her face from the beast, but the narcotic running through her veins disallowed that action. Instead, she tensed up and closed her eyes tightly, waiting for those massive jaws to mangle her.

Shuffling footsteps edged towards Jae, belonging to the human. Jae opened one eye, her muscles still trembling as the scene unfolded around her. She could now see the human clearer, and quickly, Jae took in all of the female's aspects.

The human girl was quite tall--inches taller than Jae-- with piercing lavender-purple eyes. Her body was slender, fine-boned, and a little too skinny for her age. She seemed to be around seventeen, or eighteen, judging by her features. Around her neck was a thin, weathered necklace of the Allosaurus's shed scales, and her eyes were lined with a jet-black material Jae couldn't identify, that looked like thick eyeliner. The dark lining border only made her gaze all the more terrifying to meet, making her already sharp eyes pop with more ferocity. Her clothing was tattered and washed-out, a shade of blue that must have been brighter before it's age. It was a tunic that reached to her knees, and a fairly new leather band was tied around her waist, pressing the tunic against her body to frame her shape better.

"Why'd you bring that beast to the mouth of this cavern?" the girl asked tersely.

Jae could only suck in sharp little breaths, keeping herself stable enough not to black out in the strain of the situation. Her throat closed around any and all words that she might have spoken, angering the older teenager, and in turn angering the Allo.

"Answer me!" she growled in fury, with the massive Dinosaur behind her ending her demand with a roar that shook Jae's cranium.

"I-I-I-I-I didn't mean to!" Jae yelped in fearful shock. "He got me trapped in here! I didn't--"

Before she could finish, the tall girl was looming over her, her eyes glaring so savagely down at Jae, she believed she would stab her with the end of the torch shaft right then and there, so she immediately silenced herself, though her trembling continued.

"You're a dullmoon if you think I'll believe that." She spat coldly.

     A what...?

"If you don't tell me the truth in the next three ticks, I'll have Blue here rent you to innards, and we won't think twice about you or your hybrid." The cold-toned girl added with a snide curl of her lip.

Jae's heart began to hammer in her chest cavity and pound into her throat. Panic began to set in.

"I don't know! I swear!" Jae blurted, unsure her sentences were even coming out in sense.

"Yes. You. Do." The teen snarled cooly again. "That thing's Bonded to you. Shut it up and tell it to go away, and maybe we'll let you go in one piece."

Panicking as she was, Jae was helpless to do anything about it. It was more painful than her wounds, not to be able to act on her instincts and run. Her lungs felt tightly compressed in her chest, like every breath of oxygen was going to make them burst with the stress.

I don't know what she means! What am I supposed to do!? Fright doesn't listen to me! He would never! I--

The girl cut Jae's train of thought off by lunging at her, hands outstretched to grab Jae's dark grey sweater. She clutched the loose, thin fabric at the neck and pulled Jae up to stare directly into her furious eyes.
