Before we get into in chapter, please keep in mind that there's gonna be some (kind of) heartache, and most importantly, LANGUAGE!

__________

The four men had collapse after drinking and eating too much, for whatever they could find inside.

However, in the case of the three brothers, are an exception. They're too hunger to sleep, much more, too exhausted.

"Hey!" A-Ying exclaimed.

His brothers look at him in confused expressions with his sudden action. "What are you doing?!" Honghong-er said in a whisper, that only the three of them could hear.

"Hey, mister. Whatever your name wss, cultivator sir. Could you please stop staring at us?" ignored his brother's question. "It's kinda creepy, you know?"

The two were is verge of their mouths hanging. Their brother might be an idiot! Was there brother really this dumb or what?! Can't he just shut his mouth or something?!

The cultivator guy just simply stared at A-Ying, for whatever reason, he got this offensive expression while looking at him. Surprise, I guess?

"Just shut your mouth!" Bingbing shout at A-Ying to stop. Most likely, he had enough, and doesn't want them to get even more in trouble. And as the eldest, it's his job to keep his brothers safe, and sound!

A-Ying glared at his brother. And Bingbing did not react to him at all.

The cultivator just let out a 'tsk' and that attain the kids' attention to him.

"Did you three live in this mountain?" ask the guy.

The three were wary from his sudden question. Whatever that is, they just nod in unison. Knowing that these people just go ahead and trespass their mountain.

"Then how are you three still without an adult?" the cultivator frown, having this questionable look on his face. Not knowing, he just add more dirt in the hole.

(literally, I didn't use 'more fuel in the fire' cuz why not)

Bingbing purse his lips in silence. A-Ying tremble. While Honghong-er look at the ground, while being oddly silent. Surely, who wouldn't?

The cultivator continued to frown while staring at the three. He raised a brow from their sudden movements.

"What?" he ask another time. His confusion arise each second, as he stared at the three ducklings. Pondering, what on earth they could be thinking right now?

Silence, cease upon their given distances in between. The other men, might be down due to their own self-catering business. And fortunately, they won't get up until sunrise. Hopefully, they would scram the next morning.

"Hey, answer my question you brats."

"So what if we don't?" the youngest lash out.

'That's pretty brave of you, kid.' is what the cultivator wanna spill from this brat. Oh, no just a brat, a sly brat!

"Where's your manners, huh, kid? Didn't your mother or father taught you how to be respectful towards adults?!"

(*wipe sweats*)

The three flinched from their respective area in unison.

"Our parents... You say..?" Bingbing said, yet, he's saying those words menacingly. (is our baby okay?)

"Yeah! Where are those irresponsible geezer and hag anyway?"

"..." silence.

"Tsk" the cultivator click his tongue in annoyance. "Fine, I'll ask another one then."

The cultivator reach out something from his robes, and let out a piece of paper. He stood up, and walk towards the three, making sure he maintain their distance, and ask, "Do you three recognise this handwriting?" he showed the paper.

The three seemed confused at first, until the realisation hits them hard.

"H-how?!" A-Ying exclaimed. "How did you get that?!"

Confusion. Curiosity. Anxiousness. These three words, are the ones best described in this situation.

"Oya? You recognise 'her' handwriting?" he ask without care to the triplets' expression.

Feeling in deep thunderstruck, the three brothers, had been weakend deep from their hearts.

The cultivator snickered from amusement. "I might spare your lives, only if, you tell me her whereabouts." said him.

"J-just t-tell us! What do you want!" one of the three cried.

"Simple, and I've already told you." huffed the cultivator. "I wanted to know, on where the f*ck she is now!" he roared, enough to startle the three.

Silence keeps rushing them from the past few seconds. Who should break it? Anxiousness take over the three. How come they're this nervous? We're they really this weak, when it comes to talking about their late mother? Ah, right. They're just kids. And were a mere weakling. Just because of their golden core, doesn't mean, they're much stronger, right? In comparison, this cultivator had way much more experience than them.

"Well?" the cultivator ask. Getting impatient, and decided to break the silence.

"She's dead" Honghong-er stated. His brothers were in deep worry. Out of three of them, Honghong-er didn't show much, and too dwell much longer to their much. I mean, who wouldn't?

Who wouldn't miss their mother? Missing her gentle touch being caress on their puffy cheeks? Longing her warmth, in needing for comfort? Yearning for her sweet voice, knowing she's still alive and breathing? Who wouldn't? A mother's touch, was the first thing children felt, first thing after birth. Even, from the womb. Its all their mother's love. The one thing, they could never experience, ever again.

Its hard to forget. And not easy to move one.

Yet, if there could be hope, someday, they would learn how to no longer dwell from the deceased, and start moving forward. Towards their future. Towards where they could find love. Towards where their hearts desired to be.

After all, fate is cruel, the world is small, coincidences might arrive later on, individuals had their own path. What lies, would these three should've take?
