When you think about it, the moon is the saddest thing that exists.
The moon has to watch the earth get sick with parasites, get beaten and battered. The moon is the closest thing to earth and it has to watch the planet they've revolved around all these years, die. And there's nothing it could do but watch.
It's sad, really.
