Ivy and I were talking with Anna, she's a young girl I took under my wing. I found her while on a hunting trip, she has a traumatic backstory really. When she was eight her village was invaded by humans, they began burning homes and taking other elves for slaves. I was nearby when it was all happening, you could see the smoke from afar. I climbed the trees and began running through them. I was in a jungle biome and dark oak tends to be really thick, I hurried as I heard more screams and yelling. I hopped down from the tree and pulled out my bow and arrows quickly, ran into the closest burning house and helped a family escape. They ran into the forest, and I shot a human that was running after them. I felt guilty about it but I wasn't about to let a family get hurt like I did. I heard a young girl scream from another house, I ran in and there was a human holding Anna by the hair with a sword pointed at her. It made me flash back to that exact experience I had, all I felt was rage. I aimed my arrow at him and shot him in the back, he collapsed to the ground and I ran over to Anna. I asked her where her parents were and all she did was point to the other room... you could see where two people had been slaughtered. I tightly closed my eyes, I opened them and looked back at Anna. I told her my name and what I was, she needed to trust me in order to get out of this place. I had her get on my back as I ran out her door, there was no one left– just a few humans who were still looking for elves. They spotted us and began to run towards me and Anna. I turned around and ran into the forest as fast as I could, I turned back around and shot a few arrows. Anna clung onto me as best she could, I decided I knew what I needed to do. I pressed my hands onto the ground and closed my eyes tightly hoping it would work. Suddenly chunks of the earth rose in front of me making a big enough barrier for enough time to escape. I took Anna home with me after that, me and her understood the manipulative humans and the trauma of being hurt by them.

"Okay well me and Ivy have something to tell you!" I took Anna's hands and swayed them lightly back and forth, "Ivy and I..." I couldn't even finish my sentence before Anna said,

"You're together? Oh yeah I know, it's quite obvious really." She stated, she smiled and ran off.

"Well alrighty then– guess that's that." Ivy laughed putting her left hand on her hip, "She doesn't seem to care haha."

"Yeah," I laughed too, "Well... since it's a bit late I'm going home, would you like to join me for dinner or–?" I asked hoping we could maybe hang out a bit tonight.

"Probably not tonight, tomorrow? We could work on magic!" She denied tonight but I was in fact free tomorrow. We agreed tomorrow night would be fun and I left the meeting hall, I headed home but wondered what Ivy was still doing. Maybe she's trying to talk to Brianna, she has been off for a while. I decided not to think too hard about it and carry on.

I was super tired by the time I got home, my house was more on the outskirts of L'Pogberg near the woods. I walked up the stairs and almost tripped, I didn't care much, all I wanted was sleep. I flopped into bed and didn't even bother changing, I immediately knocked out. Then I remembered Ivy's vision before our date.

Ivy was over for breakfast and was sipping on tea, I was making another kettle and leaned against the furnace. "We forgot to bring up the fact you had a vision the other night and it included death!" I threw my hands up in the air and began to pace the floor, "We need to tell her!" I stopped where I was standing and Ivy placed her cup down.

"I think you'd feel a bit more sane if you weren't still wearing your clothes from yesterday." Ivy picked up her cup and looked me up and down sarcastically. I looked down at my clothes and just grunted, I went upstairs into my room and changed. I put on a long black skirt with a white, long sleeve button up and a black corset. I walked back half way downstairs and put my arms up in the air again,
