Violet walked towards the gates with small steps, but it was fast enough. She sighed. Her feet hurt. She felt as if her hair would come down any second. She also felt insecure with so much of her showing.
As she walked through them, her thoughts overwhelmed her. But nonetheless, she kept on walking.
As she went forward, she could here chatters coming her way. After a few more steps, she saw a beautiful building. She didn't know if it exactly classified as a building, but it was beautiful.
It was shaped as the circumference of a circle, with a gap for people to go in and out. Trees surrounded it and it had a pool. Not knowing what to do, she went inside the building and smiled.
Inside, there were tables with food and pastry. She went around them until she found strawberries and a chocolate fountain. Instead of dipping the strawberry on chocolate, she ate them as they were and before she knew it almost finished half the bowl. That is when another person spoke to her, "Uh, miss? No disrespect, but if you eat that much strawberries, your body may not like it..."
Violet nodded and went on eating, but this time marshmallows, not strawberries. Again, she was stopped by the same person.
Sighing, she went to find herself some cake. The cake part had many flavors. But the red velvet cake caught her attention. She had two of those before going on with her walk around the room, and found little heart-shaped chocolates. They were on a basket. Not bothering that it may upset her stomach. She ate as many as she could, until someone tapped her shoulders.
She sighed and turned around. It must be someone else, telling her to stop. Or maybe the same person.
When she looked up to see who it was, it was another person. But he was cute - adorable, actually - also hot.
He had blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, pink lips and his voice was kind of deep when he spoke. He also had a light blush covering his face.
"Your tummy isn't really going to be happy with you," he said matter-of-factly.
Violet nodded. He smiled at me and put a hand out. "Wanna dance?" asked he.
Not knowing what to do, Violet placed her hand in his. He then led my outside. He made his way in the exact middle with her, and started dancing. One hand at her waist, the other on hers. She kind of liked his touch.
At one point, he spun her and brought her incredibly close to his and nuzzled his nose in her hair.
"Uh-" Violet started awkwardly.
"Come on," he spoke and took her by the waist, leading her towards the place where the royals would be sitting.
Royals were the ones above all others. They ruled over every pack and took a few members from each pack, for its own, but not enough to harm the other packs. Royals ruled everyone and was above everyone. They usually didn't have any problems since everyone loves them and are loyal towards them.
Violet only realized she stopped when a soft voice murmured against her ear, "Come on, li'l mate."
Violet took a step and continued doing so, stopping when the hand in her waist gently squeezed her.
But Violet was drowning in her own thoughts.
Mate. He called her Mate.
She was mated to someone?
How?
Why?
"Mate? Mate?" she found soft eyes looking at her, his face held concern.
"Yeah?"
"Come on, sit." he smiled at her and gently put her on his lap as he sat on his throne.
She felt his lips touch the back of her head.
Then, he nuzzled his nose on her neck and stayed like that.
Violet was freaking out.
Ryder nuzzled his nose on mate's neck, breathing in her sent. He felt as if he was missing something. But what?
He frowned.
That's when it hit him.
Mate's name! He didn't know mate's name. How could he be so silly?
"Mate? What's your name?" asked he.
"V-Violet," she muttered.
"Are you cold?" he asked, frowning. If mate was cold, immediately precautions must be taken.
But mate smiled slightly and shook her head.
Ryder smiled, seeing mate smile. She had such a beautiful smile. Her voice too. It was beautiful, yet sad. Her smile was sad. Her voice seemed burnt out. That was not how mate should be. Mate was beautiful after all. How can everyone not love her?
"Well, I'm Ryder," he murmured, nuzzling into her once more.
"Ryder," she spoke quietly.
Ryder laughed quietly. He liked the way mate said his name. He couldn't help as the dirty thoughts rushed into his head. He shuddered. He's like mate in bed too. He couldn't help but softly kiss her neck.
His parents came up to him and asked who Violet was.
"Mate," he muttered, "Isn't she beautiful?"
They smiled at Violet and asked for her name.
Violet didn't know how to act, but when the time for the Royals to introduce Violet to everyone, she went nervous. Afterall, everything could go wrong. Everyone would probably watch it through the Holographic TV.
She felt a reassuring hand on her back. Biting her lip, she walked towards the stage.
