It was over soon. They went to the castle. Violet's parents were supposed to come tomorrow.
She didn't want them to.
But who listens to her?
She was given a room all to herself.
That one^
It was beautiful really, but violet didn't want it.
She didn't exactly know what she wanted.
It was 2:20 am, according to the clock, when the door opened. Someone came forward.
'Come with me,' the voice hard.
Violet looked at the owner of the voice. She stood up and followed.
She was led through the hallways. They were beautiful, illuminated by candles. She didn't know where she was going, but who cared?
At last, they stopped before a golden gate. It was beautifully haunted.
The person pushed it open and slid in. Violet followed.
The room inside was beautiful. It looked like a Royal Study.
There were various kinds of books, lined up against the wall. A few royal sofas for guests and a handsomely made desk. It was a Royal Study.
Violet sat down in one of the sofas and looked at the faces around her. She didn't get what she was doing. She was no longer in control of her body. She was no longer in control of her mind.
It raced. It was exhausted, but it kept on running, as if no force in the world could have stopped it.
Then, the door opened again for a man came in.
'Violet?' he asked.
She nodded.
Jessa stood guard that night along with Retisa. Retisa had her hair up in a ponytail, her silver eyes flashing dangerously.
'Isa, how long do you think they'll need?' Jessa asked.
'Don't know, Jess. Could it be they'll come tomorrow?'
'Probably not,' Jessa decided, 'Let's wait 15 more minutes?'
'We have to wait the whole night for them, you fried chicken.'
'Fried chicken is tasty...'
'For the sake of-' The sound of tires made her stop, '-they are here.'
They opened the gate quickly, as the car quickly turned its headlights on. They took the girl and secured her in the infirmary bed.
'Her name is Violet,' Elis said, 'She's the one.'
'Can't be. Isn't she supposed to be a blonde?'
'Who gave you the idea that the Chosen is a blonde?' Elis asked.
'I don't know. I kinda like blondes.' Jessa muttered making Retisa and Elis laugh.
'Sure, babe. Not everyone is blonde.'
'Well, I know that! Elis isn't,' Jessa exclaimed, pointing at him.
'Yeah, well, now with Violet. She doesn't know anything about it. I need you two to teach her. Or, well, give her the basic idea. They disappeared, by the way.'
'How? I thought Tet went there?' Retisa asked, her voice sharp.
'We don't know if Tet is alive or dead. No way of knowing. It has Peia up day and night. But...' He put his lips in a thin line, 'Now with Violet. She'll wake up soon, make sure she's never alone. She's dangerous, more than we can imagine. You know what she is, don't you?'
Jessa nodded. 'Don't worry on it. Worry on Tet right now. And Lea. She's missing too.'
'Leya...' He muttered looking disturbed before nodding, and went to meet with Peia for news.
