This is a short story that I wrote for science.
---------------------------------------------
There once was an oxygen molecule named Phil. He was inhaled by a person. This is his story.

Phil was minding his own business in the air when suddenly he was inhaled by a person! This had never happened to Phil before, and he was worried that it was bad. Along with hundreds of thousands of his kind, he was pulled into the mouth and down to the trachea. He then went to the lungs, where he was carried by a red blood cell named Phil too. It was an amazing coincidence. He traveled with the blood cell to the heart. The blood cell then told him that they were going to the brain, through an artery. Phil had no idea what a brain was, but it sounded cool. So they went to the brain. A brain cell named Phil gladly took Phil the oxygen molecule, and used him to think. Phil the red blood cell went back to the heart, via vein, with the carbon dioxide that the brain cell gave him in tow. His load of carbon dioxide was given to the lungs, then exhaled. Phil's journey was complete.
