Chapter 12

RECAP:

THIRD PERSON POV

Everyone is silent. Hope leaves while everyone were still in shock on how powerful she is. She  overpowered Esther so easily without any effort nonetheless. Maybe being the first born witch is why she was so powerful but Hope didn't say anything of being a firstborn, she said first descended of the hollow.

Finn: Descendent of the Hollow. Mother, what does that mean? 

Esther: It is said that the hollow was a really powerful witch fifteen hundred years ago. Fearing her growing hunger for more power her own tribe killed her but before her death she casted a powerful spell that was fueled with her own death. That spell allowed her to come back to life given specific circumstances. That spell also cursed the group of people who killed her.   

Klaus: What kind of curse?  

Esther: Funny that you ask Niklaus. After all you also bear the same curse, the curse of the werewolves.     

Elijah: You mean Hope is the descendent of the witch who created the werewolves. Elijah asked astonished.      

Rebekah and Sage: Cool.        

Esther: that is not cool. not all. It is said that the ancestors of New Orleans are still trapping the spirit of that witch. Otherwise she will unleash hell upon earth if she ever gets here. If that girl is really her descendent, the first witch descendant then she is really powerful. Esther says in fear.     

Kol: she terrifies you doesn't she?      

Klaus: Why?    

Esther: for the last fifteen hundred years none of Hollow descendant were witches, only werewolves. The tribe made sure no one could be a witch fearing of how powerful maybe even being more powerful they can be than the hollow herself.

Elijah: How powerful mother?

Esther: I have no idea.

The information about their friend being this powerful made their eyes widen and made them all curious on how powerful she must be adding the fact she is also a first born witch. They all made a mental note to never be on her bad side while Esther decided that she will kill Hope along with her children which will include all vampires that are sired to them.

THIRD PERSON POV

Esther informed her children and daughter in law about hosting a ball in celebration of coming together as a family. They said there were all going to send out tickets which they immediately did then all rushed towards hopes apartment; was a bit difficult with the sudden earthquake that appeared out of nowhere.

Elena POV

At Elena's house with Damon and Stefan.

Elena: it was their mother Esther who was sealed in that coffin.

Stefan: as in the original witch?

Damon : what? How is she even alive? I thought her hybrid freak show of a son ripped her heart out a thousand years ago.

Elena: I don't know. I'm guessing she has a couple of connections in the witching community. Elijah said that she wants to live in peace with her family, including Klaus.

Stefan: she was supposed to be the weapon to help us kill Klaus.

Elena: yeah, well, not anymore. At least not according to Elijah.
