RECAP:
LOCKWOOD MANSION
It's nighttime. A half-full moon is in the sky.
Carol: opens the front door and lets Liz in.
Sheriff Forbes: Carol, what's so urgent that you called an emergency council meeting at this hour?
Carol: I didn't call the meeting, Liz.
They walk towards the living room together.
Carol: He did.
Dark Vampire Alaric: is in the room with all of the other council members. Join us, Sheriff. I was just telling the council about our vampire problem. Or should I say your problem.
Sheriff Forbes: What do you think you're doing?
Dark Vampire Alaric: Well, perhaps you and the mayor can enlighten the group on the strides you've taken to eliminate the issue. Oh, that's right, you haven't. You see the Sheriff, a woman we elected to keep our families safe and town secure, has a vampire for a daughter.
The council members gasp and look at her.
Dark Vampire Alaric: And our lovely Mayor, a son who is half-vampire, half-werewolf.
Carol: Why are you doing this?
Dark Vampire Alaric: These women are hypocrites. They claim to spearhead our defense against the supernatural presence, then cover up the violent attacks committed by their children.
Sheriff Forbes: That's enough. We're done here. It's time to go. starts to leave....
Dark Vampire Alaric: rushes to the doorway and blocks her way out.
The Council members seem surprised by Alaric's speed.
Dark Vampire Alaric: Sit down, Liz. We're just getting started.
KLAUS MANSION IN THE PARLOR ROOM
Hope: speeds towards the parlor room. He isn't here? Dad?! Where is dad?!?
Henrick: speeds towards the parlor room. I checked everywhere.
Rebekah: speeds into the room. and he isn't answering his phone.
Sage: Before we think something bad happened to him what if he was the one who daggered Elijah. It's not like he hasn't before.
Rebekah: He cleans up after himself or has one of his witches to put us in coffins immediately.
Hope: start hyperventilating.
The room starts to shake.
Rebekah: Hope, you need to breathe.
Hope: BREATHE?! My dad is missing? Uncle Elijah been daggered? Something is going to happen and I hate not knowing what that is. How can I breathe?
The room is shaking the more she gets into her feelings.
Henrick: moves his hands from Hope's shoulder to elbow gently to soothe her.
Hope: calms a bit.
Henrick: looks Hope into the eye. "Copy my moves, sweetheart." breathes in.
Hope: copies Henrick and breathes in.
Henrick: Breathes out.
Hope: copies Henrick and breathes out.
