"Talk to me, Jungkook. Tell me about your childhood," Jimin sat in front of the adorable omega with folded legs, and his hand carried the smooth aluminum and carved bowl with a double scoop of butterscotch ice cream. Jungkook was mirroring the older male's stance, softly blinking his eyes, but also faltering them, on the edge of his seat. "Jungkook?" the alpha's hand reached over and he held the omega's pinky finger.
"Talk to me, doll. I am all ears for you."
The round-eyed omega nodded, fiddling with the long spoon in the bowl. The silver-streaked alpha caught the spoon and lifted it to the brunette's mouth. Jungkook licked the ice cream off the smooth surface and pointed at Jimin's bowl that he'd kept aside before feeding him. "Have yours."
Jimin chuckled softly, eyes radiating as the ceiling lights fell on their faces. He picked up the wine glass and had a sip. "You worry about ice cream after ignoring my requests. Such an interesting little one."
"I was born in Busan," Jungkook responded mechanically. "My mother parted with me right after giving birth to me. I was left alone with my father, but he had to work outside to provide for my education and other expenses. He always stayed away from me and I grew up with my neighbors. The old grandma was kind enough to teach me to talk or to feed me. She passed when I was seven."
"I am so sorry that a precious little one like you had no parents to live with you and watch you grow. Your mother would have been proud if she was here. I am sure of it." Jimin's attention was on the 23-year-old through and through.
The soft assurance had Jungkook spinning through his memories and he smiled a little. "Thank you for saying that."
Jimin saw the blush accumulating in the center of Jungkook's cheeks. He didn't press on it and switched the subject. "What did you like the most about living in Korea?"
"Um," Jungkook thought for a moment and while doing so, he had Jimin's wolf purring softly, turning him into putty. "I guess the moon. It looks more friendly in Busan."
Jimin smiled, loving the answer. Similarly, for him, Paris turned much more romantic and picturesque because he saw Jungkook here. "Where did you study, doll?" He asked, knowing that the omega couldn't have been in Korea for long, otherwise, he would've recognized him, like every other netizen.
"Here," the omega mumbled, lifting the spoon and having another little scoop.
"For how long have you been working here?" The alpha now asked, sipping his rosé wine.
"I have been here for eleven months. I will complete my year next month. Sir, please have your ice cream. It's melting," Jungkook pointed out and Jimin craned his neck at the bedside table where he had set the silver-toned bowl.
"You can call me Hyung inside the room, doll. There's no need for formalities here," Jimin noted, picking the ice cream where Jungkook's eyes have doted.
Jungkook only nodded while Jimin started having the sweet and creamy treat. "What about you, Hyung? What did you do?" The omega asked, stretching the alpha's lips at how cutely he called his name and blinked his eyes.
"I am an athlete. Well, ex-athlete. I don't play anymore and I mostly invest in properties like these," the alpha graciously answered, hoping he didn't sound too cocky. He felt nervous all of the sudden, wanting to impress the omega. This was the trait of all the alpha wolves. They would do everything to entice the omegas they had their eyes for. While Jimin decided he wanted Jungkook as his mate, this was where it all came to. If he impressed the younger, he would be his, and if he lost him, he didn't want to think about that. His sportsman spirit was competitive, and he knew he had to win Jungkook's heart.
