Jimin stepped out of the hotel for the first time in weeks. There wasn't much populace around him, only a few restaurants and patrons, singing and strumming outside the small cafes. His stroll was steady as he basked in the magic of the streets. By the lake, he stopped to look at a man drawing on a canvas with oil paint. The picture intrigued him. It was of a woman who looked to be in her youth.

"That's quite an imagination," he complimented as his legs trudged him through the crowd that was watching the man paint. The painter turned around, seeing Jimin smiling. "Is she someone you know?"

"Actually," the omega pointed towards the corner of the alley where a man was standing under the quaint streetlight while holding a guitar. "He drew this. I am only filling colors."

Jimin's neck craned along with the painter to find an extremely beautiful omega busking — an omega he was falling for. "Jungkook," Jimin mumbled.

"You know Jungkook?" The painter asked in a surprising tone.

"I do," Jimin responded. "How do you know him?"

"I am his best friend, Taehyung." The omega replied cheerfully,  grinning now while wiping his hands on his clothes to extend them towards the alpha.

Jimin smiled, intrigued after finding someone who wasn't Jungkook's work colleague and had probably known him for a long time. "Nice to meet you, Taehyung," he grabbed onto the outstretched palm firmly. "If you'll excuse me, I'd go say hi to Jungkook."

Taehyung's brows did a little dance as he tried to take in the sudden change in the alpha's expressions and the rosemary fragrance that hit him like a dump. "Sure."

He was shaking his head when the alpha suddenly scared him while jumping back in front of his face. "Actually... I was hoping you'd give me your number. I feel that we will get in touch soon."

This gave Taehyung a much-needed confirmation that Jimin was interested in his friend. He nodded while taking out his phone and handing it to the alpha to take his number. Jimin was quick because he was hyper to meet Jungkook. Taehyung watched as he walked away while raking his fingers through his hair.

Jungkook's eyes were on the screen, watching the scrolling lyrics as he serenaded. Every now and then, he would smile and bow his head a little when anyone would drop a bill in his guitar case. When Jimin bent down, he put all the cash in the omega's case that he was carrying, and waited for Jungkook to finish and look up.

Jungkook, on the other hand, didn't let Jimin wait for long. Just as his eyes fell on a thick stack, his round eyes whipped up, seeing the captivated alpha softly smiling at him. He gulped as his hands went frail. Slowly, the air passed over with silence as he stopped playing and singing.

"Sir, what are you doing?" The omega asked, bending down to grab his case and grabbing the bills that Jimin had put down. "This is too much."

Jimin's eyes squinted. "Why don't you keep it and do something in return for me?"

On the remark, Jungkook's eyes turned rounder. "W-what?"

"One coffee with me. That's all I need from you."

Jungkook sighed defeatedly, but he was still uncomfortable around the alpha after positively pushing him towards his death last night. "How are you doing now?" He asked and started walking towards the lake.

"Fit as a fiddle. You don't have to think about that," the alpha jumped closer, walking side-by-side with the omega while fixing his hands in the front pockets of his jeans. "Out of curiosity, why did you do it?"

"I am sorry. I shouldn't have done that."

"I said it's fine, Jungkook. I am just curious as to why you did that." The alpha rephrased his question with a mischievous trace of a smile on his lips.
