6:00, Friday
There was a knock on Joyce's door.
"I'll get it "
She opened the door. It was him.
"Hey Joycie." Lonnie said
"Enzo's got some new pasta. Wanna go?" A date!! Her very first date!! But- But Hopper.. what would she do??! She didn't even like Lonnie at all. She couldn't fathem why she was excited for the first few seconds.
"Lonnie I-.. I have a friend coming over I'm sorry.. "
He was mad. He's never been rejected before.
"Joyce just kiss me already you know you want to"
Hopper arrived just as Lonnie pulled her in.
They were kissing. Joyce's first kiss was with Lonnie. Not Hopper. She was so sad but she couldn't pull out.
"Treat her good Lonnie." Hopper said while leaving
"Don't worry I will!" Lonnie yelled back
She pulled out of the kiss and ran to Hopper. But by then it was too late he was already in his car and driving away.
"Hop wait!!" she ruined her chance. No. Lonnie ruined her chance.
"Well Joyce looks like we have it all to ourself eh? Hop in the car babe"
"Don't call me babe! You just barged into my home, kissed me, and assume were dating? I never said yes! Lonnie I don't know how you got to my address but I want you to never come back!"
"Don't worry Hop told me. I guess he's not your knight in shining armor. "
"W-what?" How could he do this. And why?
"We met at the arcade and I told him, 'How's Joyce, I love her, so I'm hoping she's okay' and then he said 'Yeah well she loves you too, just go to her house.' then he told me."
"I-I do not love you Lonnie you need to leave!!"
"Oh Joyce.. your in denial."
"No I'm not!!"
She ran inside and locked the door calling hop over and over again until he answered
"What Joyce, go enjoy your date."
"Please Hop, I'm scared. I need help. Please. " She explained while almost crying
"Joyce let me in!!!!" Lonnie screamed
"I-" Hop hung up. He rushed to his car and got there as fast as he could.
Joyce didn't know he was even coming until she heard Lonnie get punched
"I said treat her good!" Hopper yelled
"I'd treat her fine ass good if she let me in!" Lonnie yelled back
That made Hopper angry. In result of that he punched Lonnie again. Lonnie punched back but Hopper dodged it only punching him more and pinning Lonnie to the ground.
"Joyce stay inside I go-" He got knocked out by Lonnie
"Jesus Joyce.." Lonnie exclaimed banging on her door. Hopper heard everything he said. He heard Joyce crying, the door banging, Lonnie yelling, Hop was furious. He got up and he punched Lonnie over and over again until for once Lonnie ran away.
"Hopper!!!!" Joyce screamed running outside to care for Hop
Hop had blood streaming down his nose and cuts on his forehead. Nothing more though.
"I'm sorry. Joyce.. I-I- was the one who told him you were here" Hopper cried
"I know.. it's okay..Are you okay?" She pulled him inside the house.
"I'm... Alittle dizzy.." Hopper said while sitting on the couch.
He passed out. "Hop!! Are you okay?!" "Wake up!!"
Hop was passed out and Joyce was having a full on panic attack.
"I-I- w-wha- It's all my fault!!! I should've just told you I love you from the start Hop please wake up I need you!!"
He woke up. "I love you too"
Joyce didn't know he could hear her. She blushed with a smile. She covers her face when she smiles because she is insecure of how it looks.
"Don't cover your face, your too cute to be hiding." Hop told her
She removed her hands and placed it on his neck pulling him in for a kiss. It wasn't her real first kiss but she felt like it was. It would have been if Lonnie didn't interfere. He deepened the kiss by leaning towards her. "I love you Jim Hopper" she really did.
