Sasha's POV

(This takes place after they get home.)

We walked to the doorstep. This was Marcy's house. She had asked me to walk her home because she didn't know how her parents would react or if they would even be there. Anne had to go home and check on her parents, plus she was crying, and if Marcy sees someone cry she cries. I looked down at Marcy's hands, they were shaking.

"You ok?" I asked and touched her hand.

"'To be honest Sash I-" She was cut off by the door opening. Mrs. Wu was looking at us.

She started screaming at Marcy and grabbed her wrist. "Marcy Wu! You are an absolute awful daughter! Do you have any idea how much money you lost me and your father! How dare you run off with your friends to another world! Oh and look at that. You've gained weight. Ungrateful brat." Tears filled Marcy's eyes. She looked down at her feet and muttered an apology. "You know, it probably would have been better if you died there." That was if for me. I yanked Marcy's arm out of Mrs. Wu's grasp and stepped in front of her.

"Listen. You don't know how much pain we've been through this past year. You have no room to say that your child is a 'awful' or 'ungrateful' for a single mistake. I'm sure you lost a lot of money but what about your own child? It seems like you don't care if she's ok. You can't even imagine how much pain she's been through, and you immediately start yelling at her the first time you've seen her in a year? A year! You aren't a good mother. Or a good person." I screamed.

"Excuse me young lady! You-"

"Call me young lady one more time and I'll rip every one of those grey hairs out of your head slowly and painfully." I growled. "Now, once you get so common sense, we'll be back." I took Marcy's hand and walked away.
