Sasha's POV

We walked in silence to a park, the one we met at. I sat down at on a bench and Marcy sat next to me.

"Your mom is a dick. I'm sorry she said those awful things you don't deserve that." I said. Tears filled Marcy's eyes.

"I'm scared Sash, I don't want to lose you" She paused for a second and looked at me. "I care about you and Anne so much and I don't know how long I-i can last without you." She was sobbing at this point. I pulled her into a hug.

"Shh It's ok Mars. Let it out." I whispered. Marcy sat on my lap and she dug her head into my chest and cried. She cried for awhile. I just sat there, stroking her hair and letting her cry. I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her. After a few minutes Marcy calmed down. She looked up at me.

"'Mars'? That's a new one." She chucked and wiped her tears.

"Oh sorry-"

"No. I like it, it's cute." She smiled and hugged me back. "I think I'm ready to go now." she got up off my lap and rubbed her face.

"Ok. Let's go" I shot up and started walking with Marcy. "I swear to frog if she says anything-"

"I'm going to talk, if I need your help I'll yank your cape twice." Marcy interrupted. I gave her a slight nod and she smiled. We neared the house but Marcy stopped.

"You ok?" I asked

"Yea.. I just need a second." She said turning to me. "Please don't leave me Sash, promise we'll stay in touch."

"Ok Mars. We'll text everyday and I promise we will see each other again. Even if it's in ten years." I gave her a small kiss on the forehead and hugged her. We hugged for a while. Just standing there, in the middle of the side walk, we looked crazy. Two 13 year olds dressed in crazy clothes was normal for LA, but fur capes and chest plates weren't.

"Sorry Sash. I'm being really dramatic." Marcy laughed uncomfortably.

"Don't be sorry. It's painful to lose so many things at once and can take a while to recover, but I promise everything will be ok." I stopped hugging her and we continued walking. We got to the doorstep and Marcy knocked. Marcy's older brother came to the door a few seconds later.

"Marcy!" He yelled. "I missed you so much! Are you ok? What happened?! You look sick!"

"It's a very, very long story" Marcy said.

"Sasha? You're ok!" He smiled and waved. He was just like Marcy, just less nerdy. I smiled and waved back. "Come on Marcy, Mother needs you." He pointed inside

"Ok..." Marcy started walking inside but looked back at me. "Thank you." She whispered. The door closed. Marcy was gone, and I didn't know if or when I would see her again.

"Goodbye."

End.
