Am I Supposed To Have A Yandere Harem?

Chapter 8

The physical exam is finally here. Erica, Lily, and I are standing with the other students who passed the test and awakened their Arcana. We were all in the courtyard, waiting.

The teacher would soon tell us the rules and instructions; the exam would start.

"Can I see your Arcana?" Lily asked interrupting my thoughts.

"Sure," I complied.

I manifested my Arcana, revealing a ninjato, with a purple handle demon marking.

"Woah... So this is what an S rank Arcana looks like." She awed.

"Yeah..." I sheepishly said. "I'm surprised that I got S rank. How about you Erica?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, I was surprised that I got S rank too. It surprised me, even more, when I heard you got S rank too." She explained.

Two days is certainly not enough time to numb the shock of getting an S rank.

"Welcome to the physical exam, everybody," Aiko said "The exam will last an hour. In that time, you will do your best to destroy as many robots as possible. Do not worry about the robots, they are nonlethal and we have a kill switch if needed."

"The exam will be inside of a smaller, compact version of Tokyo. The robots will be modeled as D to C Rank monsters." Aiko explained. "You may team up with other students but hurting and fighting another student is prohibited."

"Now," She snapped her fingers. "Let's begin."

There was a sort of rumbling then we started to descend. All of us gasped in surprise.

The courtyard was descending downwards into the Earth revealing a city under the high school.

This high school is a lot bigger than I thought. They have an entire city under it. I guess they have a huge budget since some of the greatest adventures come from this school.

"This is so cool..." I muttered gazing at the city around us.

"They had this under the courtyard?!" Lily exclaimed.

"This is unimaginable..." Erica awed. 

I would have never seen this in my past life. I guess this is one of the perks of being in the future.

The courtyard fully descended, and now we are in a park in the middle of the city.

"The exam starts now," Aiko stated. "I look forward to seeing what you're capable of."

Erica looked at me, "Team?" She asked. 

"Sure." I then look at Lily. "Team?"

"I would love to!" Lily smiled.

We were running in a direction other students weren't running in. 

A monster had turned to our street. We then all manifested our Arcana. Gross, it is a fingercrawler. Just imagine a pair of gray, old hands as big as a car. 

I have read about this monster before. it is a C Rank monster. 

A C rank monster would be a problematic thing for new adventures, but there were three of us, with 2 S ranks. The monster is also slightly nerfed due to it being a robot.

"Lily you get behind the abomination and attack it. Erica and I will try to attack it from the front." I commanded.

"How do I get behind it?" Lily asked.

The fingercrawler then slammed itself on the ground causing a crater.

"Erica and I will distract. Now go!"
