you were at work closing with jae, mira was sick so she called out.
"im so glad we only have 10 minutes of our shift left i'm so ready to go home" jae let out.
"me too omg" you said sighing with relief.
you were restocking and cleaning items and eventually clocked out. jae followed soon after.
"i'm so mf hungry" jae said while putting on her seatbelt.
"me too let's go and get some food" you said while laying your head on the window.
jae drove to mcdonald's since it was the only place open around 11pm at night and ordered.
"yeah can we have 2 number 4's please" jae asked while clicking her tongue.
"yes, your total is $12.84 pull around to the first window please".
you retrieved your food and jae drove you home.
"mom?" you called out while eating
your fries.
no response, your mom was away yet again.
sometimes it got lonely without your mom. you wanted to have a normal relationship with her, one where she listened to, comforted you, cared about you, and loved you. you couldn't lie you had a good relationship with your mom but she was never there for you, all of your significant changes she wasn't there for.
you plopped down on your bed and began to eat your food. you turned on coraline and laid back. it was a chill day, you had just hung out with jae at work, checked up on mira, talked to connie, and got paid, it was truly a great day.
.•.•.•.• - "really?! no way i applied there too!" you said while on the phone with connie.
"you fr?" he said
"i'm so serious" it's my 2nd choice though!"
"ohh okay well now that makes sense."
you heard the sound of something crashing in the background of his house.
"i thought you lived alone" you said while lightly chuckling.
"i do, but i have a bad ass dog, CHICO STOP!!" he said while running after the dog.
you laughed into your hands and turned on your tv as background noise.
he returned back to the phone after a while.
"sorry hermosa i had to feed that big ass dog." he said while panting heavily.
"no it's okay don't worry about it" you said with a reassuring smile.
it started to get really late and eventually connie was feeling tired, so he told you bye and got some sleep.
moments later you yourself fell asleep.
