"𝑶𝑵 your feet." The commodore commanded to Jack

It looked bad -- Jack standing over Elizabeth, most of her clothes gone. The rest of Elizabeth's erstwhile rescuers reached the scene, including Governor Swann. Jack stood up wearily and walked back to Lucy.

"Elizabeth! Are you alright?" The Governor asked

He rushed over to his daughter. He stripped off his jacket and draped it around her.

"Yes -- yes, I'm fine --" Elizabeth gasped

The Governor noticed Murtogg holding Elizabeth's corset who quickly threw it away and pointed at Jack, who was looking rather sheepish.

"Shoot him!" Swann barked

"Father! Commodore, do you really intend to kill my rescuer?" Elizabeth asked

Norrington looked at Elizabeth, then nodded to his men. Lucy sighed in relief and smiled at Elizabeth along with Jack who nodded at her. Norrington sheathed his sword, and extended his hand.

"I believe thanks are in order." Norrington said

Jack took Norrington's hand gingerly. They shook hands and Norrington tightened his grip, yanked Jack's arm toward him, then teared back the sleeve of Jack's shirt, which exposed a brand on Jack's wrist: a large 'P.'
