The group had to rest for now. It was dark and everyone was tired, from both all the walking and the incident with that sea creature. If you were to walk non-stop, all day, in unknown territory it's just best to rest, especially at night. Plus, there was no reason to push their limits.

Leo though, he couldn't fall asleep. He was just sitting down on the ground while leaning his back on a tree. He looked past Octavia who was asleep near him on that same tree and noticed the plants around him glowing. He could even hear Finn's smile who was awake, admiring the trees even though the guy's back was turned.

"God, you're such a lover boy." Leo let his head lightly hit the tree as he closed his eyes.

Finn turned to him with a smile, whispering, "You're seriously not that excited to see a glowing jungle? Like, c'mon, Leo this is just...so much better than the Ark."

Leo opened one eye to look at Finn. "You see this face?" He pointed at himself. "This is the face of a starved teenage boy who doesn't want to eat flowers or a two-headed deer." He closed both his eyes and it was silent for a few seconds. "But I agree, I like it here."

Monty and Jasper were both asleep near them.

Finn quietly smiled to himself as he slowly walked away from Leo to find Clarke. He continued to admire the nature on earth while Leo did the same, in secret, when no one was watching. As soon as Leo heard the footsteps go farther away he opened his eyes to look at everything. How the trees had glowed with blue and the bushes did too. But it just seemed too good to be true. They were free. They weren't prisoners. There wasn't any order. It felt different. He was hesitant with everything but at this moment he chose to admire nature.

Leopold Campbell was a man who was fueled with hatred but he also loved having fun. Fun was what got things off his mind. Having fun overtook his hatred for everything. Making snarky comments to guards made him feel better than being the one to attack a guard first. In the end, he knew he'd be beaten down but at least when he provoked the guard, he knew he was in their heads and they would forever hate him.

Leo held his hand up as he was trying to reach out for the stars. He remembers when he would look out the windows trying to touch the stars in space when he was a kid. His mom was there too, she was beside him telling him that someday he'd be out there. Whether it was space or down below, earth, or floated. Young child Leo liked to think that she was talking about the earth.

The memory was interrupted when a glowing butterfly landed on his hand. Leo froze at the sight, the blue glowing butterfly on his hand while the stars were just right there. He felt his eyes start to water from staring and that's when he shook his hand, forcing the butterfly to fly away. Leo kept his gaze pointed at the floor as he brought his knees up while leaning on the tree.
