Theseus trailed off staring at his little brother his vision blurred through tears. Dad the poisonous man he was had held him under the water too long and by the time I was...was able to fetch my baby brother from the water of the river I was almost too late.
I quickly took him to the hospital I was the only one that cared about him mother didn't. She left the moment Newt first opened his eyes and father most certainly didn't but then again when you work for the dark wizard Grindelwald you don't love anyone it was only me.
The doctors had told me there was nothing they could do and Newt was just fine but I knew different and I wasn't going to bring him back to that horrible place so with my brother in my arms we ran disappearing into the night Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry became our home and almost every day Newt had fainted sometime throughout the day luckily Albus Dumbledore gave Newt potions that would stop him from fainting.
Over the years Newt began to faint more often and the potions that used to help no longer worked I skipped classes just to look after him and all the while father was laughing I just knew it... Theseus burst into tears and Newt's cries in his unconscious state only made Theseus cry harder.
No! No! Don't hurt him. Please! Don't hurt him!" Not him, please not him. I don't care if you hurt me, not him please No! No! Don't hurt Theseus please! Newt wake up Theseus said grabbing his brothers shoulders gently before slightly shaking them still nothing. Newt's eyes opened and the moment he saw his older brother his arms were around his brother in seconds.

Theseus was shocked only for a second though as he wrapped his arms around his baby brother. Who was just so innocent that was one of the reasons Theseus went to these great lengths to protect his brother the very first moment Newt opened his eyes Theseus could just see all that innocence. He fell asleep in the warm arms of his older brother.
Just then a card appeared in the hand of Dumbledore handing it to Theseus Scamander.
