Chapter 11

Jimin was panting, aftermath of sprinting for the past 2 minutes from the parking to the private lift and again running to the CEO's cabin. He never cared to knock on the door and didn't feel like knocking today too. He went straight in and discovered jungkook reading something too involved in it. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO THIS TIME?" were the angry words that shred from jimin like he was puking fire at the youngest.

Jungkook raised a brow.

"Open you damn mouth, what did you do to the baby?" Jimin again.

"Last time I checked, I was the baby, though I hate to admit that." Jungkook retorted.

Jimin let out a breathe calm and smiled with his jaw clenched "Now you are stepping on my last nerve Jeon"

"Your soulmate is gorgeously fine and is reacting super fast to alcohol. The 'baby' must have been a hyper in his young age and the medication just induced his nerve. He tried suppressing all this time and thought he suppressed them successfully just to restart it today." Jungkook stood blank. "It's not going to affect him in any way and this is quite advantage for the research"

"You are still talking like a researcher Jeon. What am I missing? There is no reciprocation from your side."

"Did you just come straight from the court leaving a case in the mid? Stop building stories Park. What do you want me to reciprocate?"

"You know you are concerned about him but you are just acting like the opposite".

Jungkook frowned and just sighed and asked the elder to just go check on the newbie in the lab. Jungkook knew one way or the other Taehyung will be hurt in the process but he isn't a fool to engage the beauty into this without precaution. He didn't understand what Jimin ranted and sighed again as he went deep into the reading. Jimin thinks Tae's feelings will be reciprocated by the CEO. But the CEO himself is not aware of the feelings he has for the innocent baby. Yes, Jungkook is just attracted to the beauty, he wanted to know more about Tae. But jungkook is soaked in infatuation that he failed to understand what love stands for. Jungkook let the infatuation side dominate the love part. Yet he first eyed the beauty rather than concentrating on his character. But the CEO has the wrong idea that Tae also has an infatuation towards him. Oh boy you are so wrong.

"Tannie.. uh huh.. not on the bed, those are not yours." Tae was playing actively with the new found puppy.

Jin and Joon were sitting quiet waiting for the test reports that were sent to the lab checking for taehyung's past medical records. His orphanage was contacted and the orphanage keeper agreed for meeting them that evening. Meanwhile Jimin entered the lab and saw Tae playing with the puppy in the floor. He immediately ran to him and crouched down to his level behind Tae and tapped his shoulder gentle "Hi" Jimin face turned soft seeing the younger. "Chimmyyyyyy" Taehyung hugged jimin closer in the sitting position that made Jimin fall almost entirely on Tae yet he held balance by supporting a hand on the floor.

"Tannie meet your cutest uncle jimin"

Yoentan just barked in his puppy voice wagging it's tail acknowledging what Tae said.

"Aww tannie you are cute like Tae " Jimin played along. "Baby are you hurt somewhere? Do you feel pain? Hey how did your first day at work go?" Jimin bombarded questions to Tae.

"Chim the CEO gave me tannie. And we run some tests and Jin hyung and Joon hyung are literally my parents, they took good care of me as if like I'm their child. I missed you chimmy" Tae hugged Jimin again. "And the CEO looked handsome in his suit" Tae whispered to jimin who just smiled back at Tae and ruffled his hair.
