Christmas Eve (2)

The next day, they woke up someone banging on Meredith's door, Meredith cuddled up against Nick's chest keeping her close. They both jolted awak when the banging got louder.

"Meredith?!" they heard someone on the door.

It's Addison.

"God, go hide" Meredith said sleepy getting up.

"Where?" he answers still under the blankets.
"Go,go think about our plan Nick they can't know yet" Meredith added whispering pulling Nick out of the bed.

"Go, under the bed" she added guiding Nick under the bed.

"Meredith?" they heard again "open up!"

"Coming!" Meredith yelled back.

"I'll hide your stuff" Meredith added quickly taking Nick's gadgets putting it in the closet, hiding his slippers under the bed. She looked at herself in mirror slightly fixing her hair before walking towards the door to open it.

"What is it?" she asked

"Did Nick tell you something?" Addison asked quickly,  Meredith's heart racing at her question.

"What?" she asked confused.

"He's not answering his door nor his phone" Lexi said.

"What do you want me to do? find him?" Meredith chuckled.

"I mean in any case did you happen to see him go outside?" Addison asked.

"No" Meredith answered shortly. "Last time I saw him was last night.... when we had dinner" she added wanting to end the conversation and  scared she might slip in information or clue that Nick was with her the whole night.

"Maybe he went out early" Meredith suggested.

"Hmm, maybe? even if he did we would tell us right?" Addison asked frowning in confusion.

"Just because he's your friend doesn't mean he needs to tell you everything he does, he have his own life give it a rest" Lexie said "Come on" she added dragging Addison back with their own room.

Meredith stepped inside her room locking it behind her, she breath out in relief, relief that she didn't slip any kind of clue where Nick is, she didn't give that much in their conversation.

"Nick? come out they're gone" Meredith chuckled peeking under the bed. "Ou you're kidding me!!!" she sigh seeing Nick fast asleep under the bed.

"Nick!" she called quietly caressing his cheek "Nick!" she repeated a little louder, Nick jolted awake hitting his head under the bed. forgetting he was under it.

"Ohmugad" Meredith laugh. "Come on out" she added reaching out her hand to help him.

"Hmmkay that's definitely not the best idea to wake up" Nick sigh scratching his head sitting on the bed.

"Let me see" Meredith said checking his head if there's a lump, Nick pulled her closer to him hugging her waist tightly.

"Is there a lump?" Nick asked

"You hit your head pretty hard so yes, there is" Meredith chukled kissing his head.

"You want to order room service or asked the others to go to restaurant?" Nick asked as he sat Meredith on his lap pulling her close.

"We should call room service" Meredith answered "Individually" she added.

"What?" he asked confused frowning

"They were looking for you, you didn't text them?" Meredith gave back looking at him.

"No, I fell asleep because you're too comfortable" he smiled pulling her again.

"It's Christmas eve" she whispered to his ears.

"Yeah" he whispered back

"We have to get up and eat breakfast because we have a party tonight remember?" she said getting off of his lap.

"I know" Nick sigh getting up looking for his things.

"Where's my phone?" he asked

"Oh I hid them earlier when Addison went here thought they might see it" Meredith answers opening the closet where she hid his things.

"And you're shoes... here" she added taking out his shoed from under the bed.

"You really hid my stuff?" he chuckled

"I had to unless they'll noticed I'm with someone" she answered.

"See you tonight then" he smiled leaning in kissing her.

"See yah" she smiled as they pulled away she watched Nick peek through the left and right checking if someone is there before steeping out closing it behind him.

Nick stepped out of her room looking for his key card in his coat's pocket as he heart someone talked to him.

"Where have you been?" he heard someone he looked up to see Lexie standing by the door.

"I-i uh we-went for a wa-walk" he answered walking towards his room.

"Walk? with your MacBook? and a coat?" Lexie asked confused looking at him

"And coffee why?" he added opening the door.

"Just worried, we were looking for you earlier, you weren't answering your phone and you didn't text us" Lexie said.

"Oh, my phone is on silent, anyway see you tonight" he smiled nervously walking inside his room, he let you a heavy breath he's been holding since he faced Lexie, relief that he mange to avoid any further moreem question she could possibly asked to corner him.
