It's been about 1 month since I've disappeared from society. I've made my home in an abandoned apartment. Even though it was boarded up, dusty, cockroaches, and other bugs; it's my only form of 'home'. I have a small mattress as a bed, a old 2 top stove, and 4 cabinets filled with junk.

I fell so alone, I can't visit friends, family, I can't even go to the park for crying out loud. Every time I go out I have to put on this huge hoodie to cover my face. Last week, I visited my own grave. There was a bouquet of roses laying on my grave, I assume it is from my family.

I can't keep living like this, I need to talk to someone. I need to find someone who I can trust my LIFE with. I know just the person. His name is Colton Brand, I've known him for 10 years. He is my best friend until the very end.

I fly to his house and I hover next to his window. I slowly open the window and walk into his room, I carefully walk next to him and I give him a nudge. He opens his eyes and his pupils widen as he realizes what he is seeing. I quickly cover his mouth (without using super-speed) and whisper to him.

"Colton, it's me Jaden. I came back from the dead and I've got super powers!"

He replies saying, "What the heck happened? You got buff!"

"I did?" I replied

"Yeah, your arm is like the size of my head. Anyway, how did you come back from the dead?" He said.

"I actually don't know how. Maybe after I died, my powers came at the same moment? I don't really know." I answered.

"So, can you fly?" He asked.

"Yeah. It's the only power I've actually got down." I said.

"Cool. So, can you give me a scenic tour of the city?" He said with an amusing smile.

"Sure why not, I don't have a place to be." I replied.

I soon grab hold of his wrist and I take him outside and I fly into the night sky.
