Chapter 7

Floofty pov

I just looked at y/n who was fast asleep on my shoulder."Oh Y/n if only you knew the truth of my love maybe you'll realize I'm the Grumpus from long ago." Floofty sighed as I picked y/n up and placed them on my cot I was using. I watched them sleep peacefully as the night went on until I heard someone knocking on the door which upset me. When I opened it I saw Filbo waiting. "Hello Floofty,is y/n here? I kinda need their help." Filbo chuckled nervous as he looked over my shoulder.

"Sorry but your friend isn't here now, salutations" "Wai-" I closed the door on him but he didn't just leave,he told me that Y/n is missing and I might know but I simply lied besides I want Y/n here for another day and not with that stupid village. I went back to my base and Y/n was still sleeping,it was still late into the night so I decided to get y/n a gift. "Maybe I could get them a bugsnax for a gift so they won't have to hunt when they wake up." I decided to leave the base to look for the best Bugsnax I could find.

(Time skip to the morning)

I got back in time with just a white strabby I caught, I was going to get them a Bunger or Sandopede but they were tough to catch without tools so I just tackled the first Bugsnax I saw in Garden Grove. "Well they better be thankful I got them something rather then them hunting when they get up." I walked into my base to see y/n still sleeping so I did what anyone would do,I tried shaking them awake but they refused so I just placed the white Strabby on their face which woke them up instantly.

"Gahh!!Get it off me!" Y/n flailed around falling off the cot while I grabbed the white strabby off them. "Hello Y/n,I got you a present~" I gave them the white strabby. "I know you have to catch your Bugsnaxs when you get up so I got you one." Y/n looked at it confused for a moment be he spoke up." Thanks, Floofty..." "Just call me Flo for short."

Y/n ate the Strabby,at first they were fine until he puked then they fainted. "Oh my God,y/n!" I picked them up to see if they were okay, luckily they were fine just in pain I think."Y/n I'm sorry,I didn't think this would happen!" I put them back on my cot and waited for them to wake back up.

Frisk pov

"Heya Frisk!" Filbo exhausted "Hi Filbo what's wrong? You don't look so good." "Well I can't find y/n anywhere! I looked just about everywhere, great first Liz,then Egg and now y/n" Filbo sat down on y/n and mine ship. "I'm just a failure, everything I do is wrong in one way or another heck I couldn't keep everyone in snakburg for one day!" He looked like he was about to cry so I just tried my best to comfort him.

"I'll look for y/n myself, they're probably at Floofty's base. Floofty was just busy though." I got up and went simmering springs leaving snakburg. When I got to Floofty's door I felt something tap my shoulder,when I turned around it was Dolce the lollive. "Lollive,Lollive la!!" I went to the other side and opened the door."Umm Floofty! I need y/n back!"

Floofty popped up from their base and walked towards me. "What do you want now? I thought I told you before or did you even listen, y/n is mine" "Floofty snakburg needs Y/n back-" That's when I felt something drag across my neck,it was a blade. "You think I'll back off so easily to give y/n up? Rather that I train lollive to attack anyone I want,now go away or else"

"But-" "Would you rather be killed here and now? I bet y/n won't miss you." I had no choice but to turn back if I didn't want to be killed however I managed to get spring in so I just hope they can save y/n.

Floofty's pov

I went off back into my base. "To be honest Dolce we got to change locations otherwise I would be bothered everyday because of
Y/n. Dolce do me a favor and search for a new location for us to set up base but make it quick, I have to have someone watching Frisk." Dolce took my orders and flew off into the sky. "Meanwhile I have some plans for y/n. If they want them then they'll have to get them." I locked the door and went back to y/n who was still passed out.

I got some plans out for a hut however I wasn't going to build it here so I started gathering materials to build it where I wanted so that way I wouldn't have to do it when I found my new base. Once I gathered everything I went back to check on Y/n who was still passed out. So now I have to wait until Dolce comes back with some new undiscovered base. A few hours pass and Dolce comes back with news. "So around the edge of Frosted peak there is a cave and secret beach there? And it would take about 3 hours to get there as well as the supplies which would taken 2 more hours? Fine. If I can keep y/n to myself then it's worth it but I now a grumpus who can help. Get Frisk here now."

As Dolce flew back into the sky I started putting everything in boxes and waited until she got here. "I thought you told me to stay away from y/n,Floofty." "Too bad for once I need your help but for this you'll be blindfolded and guided by Dolce, either you take it or die." Frisk wanting to live agreed and was blindfolded and guided by Dolce. As we made the first trip there with all the supplies we came back to get the rest of the supplies to the new base. After that I left Frisk back at simmering springs and locked the door to Boiling bays.

Frisk's Pov

"Well that took forever and my eyes hurt now" I exclaimed rubbing my eyes as I walked back to snakburg. As soon as I stepped foot into town Filbo immediately greeted me. "Heya Frisk where were you?" "I was just talking to Floofty,they got caught up with useless facts about sciences so I got stuck there for a while." "Well if you can we need more bugsnax's, everyone is getting hungry" "I'll get to work with that..." I walked away and went to Garden groves to catch Bugsnax's. Little did Floofty know that spring was following them the whole time so if I need to rescue y/n I can. "Hold on y/n I'll save you from crazy." I thought.
