Amber waited in the cave where she spent a lot of her childhood in. Waited for him to make his appearance. A hour has passed since school was let out for the day. Jungkook already broke the trust they had for each other. She didn't even know why she agreed to meet him here. Growing anxious she was about to get off the ground and walk home. Until he made his way into her view.
"Bambi" made his way out from his lips she froze at that name. "Don't call me that kook you don't know me anymore." She tried being loud but came off as a whisper. Jungkook stared into her, giving a smile.
"I still know you Bambi." Patting her head. Plopping on the ground he began to clear his throat so he can speak. "Where do I begin?"
"How about the truth kook."
"When did you become feisty? You've been around Taehyung too much."
"Maybe because he's my only friend now because you left me when I needed you most!" She began raising her voice fighting tears that wanted to run from her eyes.
" I didn't want to leave you."
"Thank you for choosing popularity over the only person that cared for you."
"Amber let me fucking explain please! Just shut up and let me tell you everything already!"
Amber was taken aback he never raised his voice let alone cuss. He indeed changed, this Jungkook in front of you was different.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be I shouldn't have gotten like that with you."
"I'll let you explain now bunny boy."
Jungkook began laughing when he saw the redness appearing on her face. He stopped mid laughter when he felt a small fist hit his arm. "Oh there you go again feisty."
"Shut up and explain please before I die of embarrassment from you."
Jungkook began to tell her everything on his mind.
It all began when we were getting ready to began high school. Wow that was two years ago huh? Well that's when girls began finding me attractive. Amber rolled her eyes at that statement. But I didn't see anyone that way except one girl. You know the girl too by the way. Amber was trying to think of someone, maybe it was who he was with that day? I would push them away from me because I only had eyes for that one girl. I actually still have feelings for this girl cause she does the cutest things even though I watch from afar. Sadly I think I lost out with her though. Because I think her heart is with someone else. Amber was confused now because the girl she thought of no longer goes to their school. Oh where was I ? Oh that's right anyway so one day a girl tried to flirt with me but I just faked laughed with her. Well the girl who wanted my attention found out who I was crushing on. Amber thought to her self "what does this have to do with our friendship?"
She threatened to hurt the girl I was falling for. So I tried cutting ties with the girl I loved. I didn't want to see her hurt. Little did I know I hurt the one I loved more than anyone. I broke my promise to this girl. I didn't protect her, I hurt her. Now Amber was really confused who captured kooks heart? Have you figured out who I was in love with yet Bambi? Amber shook her head and gave him a confused look. It's you Amber, my Bambi, it's always been you. I love you long time.
Jungkook leaned towards her breath dancing on her lips. Closing her eyes she leaned into him. Feeling all the feelings and butterflies play inside her. Truth was two years ago she was in love with the bunny boy also. If only they told each other their feelings back then. Maybe then they could of been something more. She didn't want to ruin this moment in time with what ifs. She hungered for his lips on hers for too long.
He began to pull her small frame towards him. He waited for this moment for years she was finally in his embrace. Pulling away he looked into those hazel eyes he missed so much. "Thank you for explaining kook. But what do you mean you know my heart belongs to another?" He looked away with saddened eyes. "I know you are in love with my friend." She began to feel heat on her cheeks because she knows now who he meant. "You're falling in love with Taehyung." Still clinging to his shirt she let go. "I'm not in love with him kook. I haven't fallen in love since you." Holding your hands he looked at you "It's okay Bambi I've already accepted it. Honestly I approve of him for you. He's a great guy and friend and I see he makes you smile like I once did. Maybe he can protect you like I couldn't. I will always love you and have love for you but I just wanted to tell you the truth." She was dumbfounded at what he said. It was him the old Jungkook even if it was a split second.
"Come on let's go home now it's getting late."
"I forgive you"
Turning towards her his bunny eyes made a eye smile.
" I knew you would."
"Huh?"
"Forgive me"
"How?"
"Don't you remember what you use to always tell me when we got into fights?"
"Erm no?"
"No matter what happens I can never stay mad at you kookie." She stopped walking beside him. Shaking her head laughing at the boy. "You remember that saying?"
"Of course I got on your nerves a lot, we had a fair share of fights. Also my memories with you are favorite." The rest of the walk home was silent between the two. Little did they know on the way home they were watched.
