Harry wakes up earlier than he normally would and the reason for that is because Gemma is leaving. He's not sure why it's come to such a shock to him, Harry knew this was going to happen soon but when Gemma said she was going to stay a little longer he had a glimmer of hope that he wasn't going to be so alone anymore. Obviously that's just Harry getting his hopes up because after all, his sister needs her education.

I just wish I wasn't alone.

Harry can already hear suitcases being lifted across the landing from outside his room but he refuses to go help Gemma. Not because he's being lazy or mean but because Harry doesn't want the process to quicken, he wants Gemma to stay as long as possible.

Eventually though, Harry plods out of his room with a glum look on his face. He thuds down the stairs, leaving his feet dragging behind him and huffs when he catches sight of Gemma rallying up her things in the middle of the living room.

"Hey Haz..." She smiles slightly.

Harry doesn't respond and instead he sulks over to her and wraps his arms around her middle before clinging on tightly as if he's scared to let go. The boy really tries to hold back his tears for his sister's sake but he can't help it.

I'm going to miss her so much.

Harry sniffs loudly and just lets himself cry silently into Gemma's warmth. Gemma's lip wobbles but she manages to stay strong and wraps her arms around her brother just as tight. She feels so terrible about leaving her little brother alone again but University is important and she has already missed enough.

"It's okay, Haz. I promise I'll always call you whenever you need to talk and you have so many new friends now! I've already texted Lottie and asked her to keep you company and she sounded really excited. I promise you it's going to be okay, yeah?" Gemma reassures quietly and Harry just sniffs again before nodding slightly.

"Who knows? Maybe this summer I might come home and you'll have a boyfriend?" Gemma smirks making Harry pull his head back and whine out before slapping Gemma on the arm playfully.

Wait- she might actually be right.

Something in Harry's brain seems to snap and he suddenly realises that he hasn't told his sister anything about Louis. Should he? Harry is sure Louis won't mind but the real question is whether Gemma will mind. The boy isn't sure if his sister will approve and a part of him doesn't want to risk it. However, not telling Gemma the truth now is eating him up inside so he decides to just let it out.

"Speaking of...I actually have a date tomorrow-" Harry starts but Gemma cuts him off with a squeal.

"A date! Why didn't you tell me, you asshole!?" Gemma gasps while slightly shaking Harry in excitement. "Who is it? Do I know him?"

Here goes nothing.

"It's Lottie's brother..." Harry mumbles out with a faint blush dominating his cheeks.

"Harry I swear to god you better be joking." Gemma suddenly says in a stern and serious tone.

"What do you mean?" Harry gulps. He didn't think Gemma would be that cold about it.

"You're dating that sick, homophobic dick?!Jesus Harry I though you were smart! I'm sorry but I will not allow you anywhere near that fucker and I'm sure mum won't approve either- he literally punched you in the face! That's not a love declaration!" Gemma rambles in a angry tone.
