Harry wakes to the sound of his alarm clock blaring out in the early hours of Tuesday morning. He slugs out of bed tiredly before heading to the bathroom to brush his teeth and fix his bed hair.

Harry then hops back to his room—a little more awake this time—and opens the large doors to his wardrobe. His eyes meet the pale pastel colours of his clothes which mostly consisted of short skirts and cute sweaters.

After picking the outfit Harry is going to wear today, he walks over to the mirror behind his door to check himself out and to make sure he doesn't have any imperfections. Today Harry is wearing and plain white pleated skirt paired with a cropped white shirt and on top he has a light yellow cardigan.

Harry twirls around in the front of the mirror with a smile on his face, he loves being able to express himself with his style choices which is why—no matter how many times he gets bullied—he'll never stop wearing his skirts

"Harry! I've made extra toast for you!" Anne, Harry's mum, suddenly shouts from downstairs.

"Coming mum!" Harry yells back.

With one final look at himself, Harry grabs his bag and hurry's downstairs in hope that he'll get to have a conversation with his mum before she goes to work.

"Mum?" Harry calls out once he's arrived in the kitchen.

"She just left." Gemma, Harry's older sister speaks up with a mouthful of cereal.

"Gems! What are you doing home?" Harry gasps and runs over to give his big sister a hug.

"I've come home for the week." She shrugs like it's the most casual thing in the world.

"Why? I mean I'm not complaining I missed you so much!" Harry asks after releasing Gemma from his tight grip.

"Well um mum told me that she is working extra hours this week at the hospital so I came back to keep you company, you're left alone too much." Gemma explains but you could see that she was trying to mask her sympathy for her little brother.

"Well I'm happy you're home." Harry smiles sadly. As much as he loves his sister being home, it doesn't make up for the fact that he misses having his mum around.

Ever since Des and Anne's divorce she's been working extra hours just to be able to provide for them. Of course Harry is grateful but he misses spending time with her more than anything.

"Me too baby brother." Gemma smiles before gesturing to the toast that Anne left behind for him. "I like your outfit by the way, very cute."

"Thanks Gems! I really like the yellow cardigan." Harry perks up before grabbing the toast and stuffing it in his mouth. "Okay I've gotta head to school but we're hang out later, right?"

"Of course, maybe we can go to the mall?" Gemma asks with a smirk, knowing that going to the mall is one of Harry's most favourite things to do.

"Yeah! That's sounds great!" Harry beams with the most adorable smile on his face before waving goodbye to Gemma and heading out the door.
