~Dax and Adam~
Scientist: *Hanging on for dear life* Please, help me. I don't wanna...
Dax: *Tosses a rope coil down* Grab the rope!
Scientist: *Refusing to let go*
Adam: Grab it!
Scientist: I can't, I can't.
Dax: Yes, you can!
Scientist: I can't! I'm not a good climber!
Dax: *In total disbelief* Brilliant. Okay, hang on. Don't worry. I'll get you instead. *Prepares to go down*
~Lincoln and Tani~
Lincoln: How are you guys?
Chase: We're fine, but obviously, the tunnel that we made is closed.
Tani: Are the scientists okay?
Bren: Yeah. We're good. All things considered.
Lincoln: I don't think we can get through. The aftershock shifted things. There's no telling when another might hit.
~Lab~
Chase: We'll find our way up.
Tani: Alright.
~Dax and Adam~
Dax: *Still preparing*
Scientist: *Shivering* Please hurry up.
Dax: I am. *Looks around* This is a gorgeous view.
Danny: Won't be so gorgeous if you fall from a 4-story window and slam into the pavement down below.
*Sirens in the distance*
Scientist: Help me. Please.
Adam: You're okay, you're okay.
Scientist: I can't hang on much longer. I can't do it, I can't do it.
Dax: *Grabs his arm and pulls him to the rope* I got you. I got you, I got you.
~Lab~
Bren: Who's the leader of this group?
Male Scientist: Me. Dr. Elton Gonzales, Project Manager.
Chase: How is everybody doing?
Dr. Gonzales: Fine, I guess. But we'd be a lot better if we knew how we were getting out of here. I take it that your way in was a one-way ticket?
Chase: Unfortunately, yes.
Bren: D-Don't worry. We're good at finding a way out of tight spots.
Male Scientist 2: You don't think we've already tried everything? I mean, you're looking at 16 PhDs.
Female Scientist 2: 17 if you count Salazar, wherever he is.
Female Scientist 3: Last we heard, he said he was going upstairs to check on the vault. Then, the earthquake hit.
Chase: We know. You work for DARPA. We were informed.
Bren: No offense, but it's not really a wise decision to use a hotel's basement, or any underground area, as a lab. Aside from being the worst spot for natural disasters, civilians could get caught in the crossfire.
Dr. Gonzales: Noted, but a facility with an obvious appearance just screams "Invade me". We could've gone for an abandoned building, but that too could be just as obvious as one that's active.
Male Scientist 3: What are you gonna think of that we didn't already try to find a way out?
Chase: We haven't thought of it yet, but it'll probably never cross our minds.
