For the remainder of that week, all you could think about was your upcoming part in the movie. During your short meeting with Alfred, you had jotted down some quick notes about where and when to be at the filming location and any other details you thought necessary.

On your notepad, you wrote this;

Date: Next Friday (07/10/22)

When: 3 pm

Other Notes:

Bring script and get well-rested

You had memorized what you wrote down, but you had posted the paper on the wall right next to your bed. It was Monday, and throughout the week, you practiced your lines in different moods and expressions. You've never felt more confident in your life. By the time Friday had come, you were ready to face the camera for your short part. Your parents had left for a getaway weekend, so you sent them a quick text letting them know you were leaving the house unoccupied and then went on your way.

The drive to the film location was a long 100 miles away, but it was worth the drive to be in your first film. You thought you would be most excited to start your career like you always dreamt, but in reality, you were most excited to see Alfred. For a good portion of the drive, you were deep in thought about why you had grown so attached to that man in such a short time. Maybe it was because he was attractive or just because he was famous; you didn't know.

Two hours later, you pull into the driveway of a vast white farmhouse with acres upon acres of green land with apple trees scattered about. The film crew was set up behind the large house but waiting on the front porch was Alfred, leaning against a beam. He had his arms crossed, one leg crossed over the other, and a grin on his face.

You park your car and get out and walk up to see Alfred. "Hello Alfred," you said with a smile, "you never told me this place was so beautiful and calm." You said playfully.

Alfred chuckled, "Mhm, I know I want to surprise you, sweetheart."

Again, that butterfly feeling you get each time you calls you sweetheart. You shyly look down at your feet.

"Shall I show you around y/n?" Alfred asked softly. You look and eagerly nod. He wraps his arm around your shoulder and lets you inside first, following closely behind.

Since you both had some spare time before your scene together, Alfred took his time showing you around and where your scene would take place. After showing you the whole house, you went back to the scenic location with Alfred to watch some filming. Alfred walked you through the entire process of what was happening in that scene and how it would play into their scene together.

Alfred turned to you and spoke, "Just to recap slightly, in our scene, I'm fighting with my jealous wife at the backyard party, and the argument ends with a shock." He said. You nodded in understanding, but you were confused. Why wouldn't he tell you how the scene ended? Was it intentional you didn't know, or was he hiding something?

The director announces its time for your scene once it has been set up for the first take. You and Alfred walk down and prepare for the shout of the director. "Action!" shouts the director.

The scene starts with arguing between Alfred's character and his wife begins, which lasts most of the scene. You only had a couple of lines in between theirs. As the scene comes closer to the ending, the end shows itself.

"Why does this woman keep following you around anyway? You just met her a couple of weeks ago!" shouted his wife, flailing her hands. "I'm your wife, not her! You love me, not...her!" she barks.

In the scene, you stand next to Alfred the whole time except for the end, which you know, but they never tell you what happens next. As his wife stops yelling, Alfred's character is scripted to pull you in front of him. The next part shocked you.

He pulls you in front of him by the shoulders and kisses you right in front of his character's wife. She then storms away out of camera view, and Alfred's character slowly walks in the other direction sulking; your character then runs after him, calling his name in shock. The director calls cut, and your first scene is over.

You still had a very shocked expression, and Alfred knew why.

"I'm...I'm sorry I didn't tell you how the scene ended; I was told not to so that your character could be as genuinely shocked as possible." He said a little bit of shame could be heard in his tone.

"No, um, no, that's okay. I just wasn't expecting it, that's all." You said nervously, chuckling. Alfred nodded and relaxed, knowing you weren't mad with him; how could you be?

Alfred had one more scene to film that day which took forever, but you watch his every move very carefully, trying to learn from him. It was late when everything was packed up for the day, and you were waiting on the front porch, admiring the beautiful sunset. Alfred came up and stood next to you.

"you did amazing today, y/n; I'm glad I found you." He said; he sounded exhausted.

"thank you, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't have found something like this; I'm very grateful, Fred." You look at your watch and realize how late it is. "I better be going," you said.

"right, of course, let me walk you to your car," he said politely. Together you walk to a long driveway to your car, having a short chat about how the day went. "thank you for walking with me." You said

"It's my pleasure." He said. Then the both of you went quiet for a moment. Alfred leaned down slightly, and you looked into his beautiful brown eyes. He cupped your cheeks in his large hands and smiled. He then leaned in all the way and gently kissed you, and you kissed him back.

"Thank you," he said, smiling.
