TW: Needles, blood
The nurse, whose name was Sasaki, replaced the bloody bandages around Y/n's wrist. The sting from the antiseptic made them wince. Several days had gone by since their friends and family visited. The only visitor who had asked questions about what happened was Bakugo. Even Y/n's own parents didn't ask questions, likely because they already knew. Recently Akio, their brother, called them to ask if they were okay. He had never expressed any worry for his twin before, so Y/n was surprised.
Other than that call, Y/n's only company was that of their nurse, who had no interest in being friends with a mentaly ill teen. The hospital had looked up Y/n's physical and mental health history, so, naturally, the staff was informed. Y/n snapped back to reality when they felt a prick in their arm. Sasaki was removing the IV needle.
The nurse then raised Y/n's bed. He turned on the lights, straightend the bedspread and sheets, and propped up Y/n on their pillow.
"L/n, you have a visitor," Sasaki informed them when he was done, "He will be coming within an hour."
He left the room quickly shutting the door behind him. His footsteps faded into the sounds of the busy hall, bustling with activity. Y/n listened for any signs of someone drawing near, but they couldn't hear anything over the crowd outside and their heart monitor. To entertain themself while they waited, they filled out a hero-themed crossword with ease. It was up for debate who knew more about heroes, Deku or Y/n. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door and a familiar figure walked through the door.
"Y/n, how are you?"
"Dad! I thought you weren't coming for another three days?"
Y/n's father laughed. "I was, but it turns out you can finally leave today."
"Wait, really?!" Enthusiasm lit up Y/n's face. They could finally leave this hellhole that trapped them for nearly two weeks.
"Yep. Now get dressed. I'll be waiting outside for you."
