Y/n woke up to Mrs. L/n gently knocking on the door, stating breakfast was ready.

"Ok, Mom! We'll be down in a few minutes," Y/n promised. They turned to look at the blonde resting his head in their chest. "Wake up, Suki. Breakfast is ready."

"Five more minutes," he grumbled.

"No, we have to get up."

"Fine," Bakugo said as he rose from the bed. The pair dressed before rushing downstairs for the meal.

"Sorry for the delay, Mrs. L/n," Bakugo said.

"It's quite alright, dear. Now sit down and eat!"

On the table, Mrs. L/n had prepared a large breakfast. There were eggs, ham, rice balls, sushi, and many other dishes. As the family ate, conversations about Y/n and Bakugo's school rose.

"Now, Katsuki, where do you go to school?"

"I go to UA High. I'm in the same class as Y/n," he responded.

"You know each other really well, then. Maybe you'll even work as heroes together."

Y/n laughed. "Maybe. How is Aiko doing in his high school, by the way? He's been very quiet."

"I've been doing well. High school has been pretty easy. I'm hoping to be a doctor."

"That's great! You can help Suki after he gets his ass kicked in battles," Y/n teased.

"Don't you mean when you get your ass beat in battles?" Bakugo mumbled gruffly.

"I said what I said."

"We'll see about that."

"You two have a strange relationship, Y/n," Mr. L/n observed.

"Yeah, what's up with that? Are you guys even dating?" Aiko piped up.

"Shut it, pipsqueak. We're heroes-in-training. We're naturally rivals, but we're still dating. Not that you would understand, of course," Y/n smirked.

"Hey! I'll have you know I've had many girlfriends!" Aiko countered.

"Oh? You failed to tell us about that, Aiko," Mrs. L/n said.

"Who's the unlucky girl?" Y/n asked.

Aiko opened his mouth to answer, but decided against it and continued to eat his breakfast. The L/n's and Bakugo ate in silence, everyone with their own distinct thoughts. Y/n was entertained with Aiko's thoughts about comebacks he'd never make until their mother's thoughts caught their attention.

Y/n is such a great kid. It's a shame that they aren't Aiko's real older sibling, otherwise they may have had a lot more in common.

Y/n was at a loss for what their mom meant by that. Y/n continued to eat, but decided to not think about what they heard until they were alone. After breakfast, the family all did their part to help clean up until Bakugo insisted on finishing the cleaning. Y/n thanked him and went upstairs to their room to think.

What did Mom mean by that? "It's a shame that they aren't Aiko's real older sibling"?! I know that Aiko isn't adopted, he looks exactly like Dad except for his eyes, which resembles Mom's, Y/n thought frantically. The more they tried to figure it out, the more they realized that they didn't look much like their parents at all. Their hair and eyes were completely different, and their quirk was too. Their mom's quirk was Crystal Manifestation, which allowed her to create crystals from the molecules around her. Their father's quirk was Plant Growth, so he worked as a florist. Aiko's quirk made sense- his quirk was Plant Infusion which allowed him to infuse molecules into plants. It was clear where Aiko got his quirk, but how did Y/n get theirs? Why could they copy quirks and appearances? Y/n's thoughts spiraled until Bakugo came into the room.

"Hey, Y/n? I think we should get going. Training can't wait forever," he stated.

"We should get ready, then," Y/n agreed.

Y/n and Bakugo arrived at the UA gym, already sweating from the heat.

"Let's get started. I'm meeting Mina in an hour," Y/n said, getting in position to fight Bakugo. Bakugo mirrored his partner's position, making explosions to signalhe was ready to start training.

Y/n made the first move towards Bakugo, running circles around him. Bakugo didn't know where they were, with how fast they were moving. Bakugo decided to blast himself up away from Y/n to escape their prison. Y/n whipped a vine towards his moving figure and knocked him out of the air. He landed with a thud. Next thing he knew, Y/n had him wrapped in steel poles. No matter how many blasts Bakugo created, he couldn't free himself. Unhappy about the outcome of the battle, he begrudgingly surrendered to his partner.

After Y/n set Bakugo free, they sat next to him and healed his wounds as best they could. Only a few scratches were left behind.

"You got roughed up pretty hard this time, Katsuki," Y/n pointed out to Bakugo.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever."

"Awww, Suki... Don't be like that. Last week you won twice."

"Yeah, but not this time. The best never loses."

"You can't become the best without losing, you know. It's the only way to improve."

"I know. I still don't like it."

"Didn't say you had to. Besides, you looked like you did. You were blushing pretty hard when I stood over you," Y/n smirked.

"What?! No I didn't!" Bakugo denied, knowing that he was lying not to Y/n, but to himself.

Y/n was going to tease him further, but remembered that they had to meet up with Mina in a few minutes.

"Oh shit! I'm about to be late!" they exclaimed as they quickly grabbed their belonings and ran to the common room.
