Forbidden Obession

The Truth Comes Out

                                                             Once Robin and Valenthia have eaten dinner they sit upstairs in Valenthia's room with the tv on they start opening the books after deciding that it would be a good idea to start researching on Wanda Valachovic when something catches Robin's eye something her and her family had been fearing would be coming out but she didn't know it would be yet Robin turns to Valenthia and questions
"Valenthia it says here that Wanda was a vampire witch so vampires do exist then I thought they was a myth, so was she a vampire?"
Valentino and Anthia who was listening outside the door comes swooping in knowing this day would come Valentino looks at Robin and states in a firm but stern voice before Valenthia can say anything
"If we talk to you about this you must keep this a secret Robin do you understand?"
"Yes sir I absolutely will" Robin promises
"On pain of death you swear you won't say anything" Anthia exclaims with a serious voice
"I swear and promise that I won't say anything" Robin promises again
Valentino sits down next to his daughter and looks at Robin taking a breath
"Yes Vampires are real and yes Wanda was indeed a vampire witch what you read is accurate we was dreading this day would come this is why we left translyvania I understand that you have to put an essay in about Wanda but you must not put this in your essay" Valentinio confirms expecting Robin to run a mile to tell the whole village but in fact Robin didn't run he looked very excited and interested Robin states
"I promise I will not tell and I promise I will not put any of this in the essay but I am interested to hear more, so wow Vampires really do exist I thought they were all a myth and a legend so all three of you are also vampires?"
Valentino nods and shows his fangs, Anthia also shows her fangs Robin looks at Valenthia and asks
"Why aren't you showing your fangs?"
"I haven't got them yet" Valenthia timidly replies
"Listen here breather if I hear a sniff or a word that you've said something I will not be best pleased do you understand?" Valentino remarks
"Of course I absolutely understand and what is a breather?" Robin asks a bit confused
"A breather is a human" Valenthia confirms for him "You are what we would call a breather as you breath"
"Ah I see I understand now yes I suppose I would be known as a breather" Robin replies understanding then continues "I won't say anything you have my word nor will it go into the essay but I am interested in finding out more about your family for my own interests"
"You should see Robin's room he has vampire bats hanging up and all sorts of vampire stuff daddy it seems he supports vampires daddy" Valenthia looks at Valentino almost pleadingly
Valentino looks at his daughter sees her pleading eyes and smiles he strokes her head softly he exclaims
"My little bat I am not going to eat your friend he promised to keep his word and that he wouldn't say anything so relax it's going to be alright little bat your friend can stay around so as long as he keeps his promise"
Valenthia smiles and hugs her dad then looks at Robin smiling, Robin smiles back then replies
"I have written some of the essay before this part if you'd like to read it?"
Valentino smiles and holds his hand out for the piece of paper that Robin had written, Robin hands it over Valentino looks it over once he has read the paragraph he smiles he looks back at Robin passing the paper back exclaiming with a smile
"I am not accustomed to having breathers in the house nor am  I accustomed to having breathers around me so you're going to have to excuse me while I get my wife and I a drink as your blood is calling to me however your essay is brilliant Robin it's marvelous in fact"
"Thank you, so Anthia you're having a baby that's amazing so Valenthia's going to have a little brother or sister?"
"That is correct, if I have a boy the boy will inherit everything if I have a girl Valenthia being the oldest girl will inherit it all"
"Which I don't mind if mum has a boy and he inherits everything I'd be glad to have a brother to help look after" Valenthia brightly replies
Robin smiles and nods he puts his notepad down as  Valentino returns with blood bags for his wife and I and orange juice for Valenthia and Robin, Robin takes the orange juice thanking him takes a sip then asks curiously
"Can you tell me about Transylvania and why you left?"
Valentino having had some of his blood bag looks at Robin knowing Valenthia has never really heard this story in full but that he had told her that they were run out of town because they were shunned Valentino takes a breath and starts to tell the story
"Valenthia was just born the village had found out we were vampires and the village had formed a mob they had intented to finish us off we had to pack up our home leave everything we knew behind we had to leave immediately" Valentino takes another sip of the blood bag and continues while Robin and Valenthia are sipping their drinks Valentino then continues "We had to travel miles to get to Pennsylvania stopping in various places due to the sun as you know vampires burn in the sunlight, so we got here to Pennsylvania and found this abandoned house in which John what we call Valenthia's grandfather even though he isn't her grandfather but to us he is family so we did up the house and made it a living place which is why we are so afraid to be run out by breathers once more"
"You don't have to worry about that because I won't say anything and actually did you know this house is actually yours" Robin remarks with a smile and gets out his book from school and shows Valentino the family tree and continues "Tomas Valachoat dvic owned this house so technically it was yours to inherit anyway as you are a living relative to Tomas so therefore you are the legal owner of this house"
"You are very bright young breather" Valentino confirms smiling then states to Robin "He is my great, great, great, great uncle yes we could have taken the house however when we was in transylvania we were not aware of this house but now we know this we know we can't leave this house but you have promised to keep our secret so I emplore you to keep it"
"I absolutely will you have my word" Robin smiles and finishes the essay with Valenthia just then Draken speaks up
"Now the young breather knows about us perhaps it is time they go to bed now they have finished their essays"
"I thought that dog was stuffed it talks" Robin replies shocked
"I am not a dog I am a hellhound and yes I do talk but yes I am stuffed I am Valenthia's companion I make sure she is on the straight and narrow, as for you young breather you cannot say about this either the master may bite but my bark is worse"
Robin nods then replies
"I promise my lips are sealed about all of this especially that a dog can talk I don't want bad press at your doors I'm just glad to have a friend"
Robin finishes off his drink then states
"However the hellhound is right we should sleep as we have school in the morning"
"Yes you're right we should sleep" Valenthia replies kissing her dad on the cheek then her mum and lays down getting comfy, Robin does the same Anthia and Valentino smiles leaving the room Valentino turns to Draken and states
"Watch over them"
"With my life" Draken replies with confidence
With this Valentino leaves the room, Draken also lays down near the children as they fall asleep Valentino had given Robin some pjamas to get into.
                             The next morning Valenthia and Robin wakes up next to one another Valenthia smiles at Robin, Robin smiles back, she sits up taking a moment to adjust to the morning light that's barely seeping through the curtains Valenthia looks at Robin and exclaims
"Morning Robin"
"Morning Valenthia did you sleep well?"
"Yes I did, did you sleep well?" Robin smiles asking
"Better than I did the other night yes" Valenthia replies getting up she grabs her school uniform goes to the bathroom and gets changed into her school uniform then comes back out Robin had got changed into his uniform out of the pjamas and folded them up neatly Robin looked at Valenthia and asks
"Did you have a nightmare the other night then?"
"Yeah I did I don't want to talk about it it was a horrible,horrible dream" Valenthia confirms
"Of course I won't pressure you to talk about it if you don't want to talk about it but as a friend I am concerned you can always talk to us" Robin replies concerned and friendly
"Thank you Robin that means a lot to me" Valenthia exclaims smiling
Robin smiles then tells her picking up his bag
"We should get downstairs as I can smell breakfast"
"Yes we should,John is cooking a full english breakfast" Valenthia replies smelling the breakfast now also picking up her school bag she goes downstairs with Robin John gleefully exclaims
"Good morning Robin and Valenthia"
"Morning" Robin and Valenthia reply setting their school bags beside them as they sit down John smiles and dishes up the breakfast then sets the plates on the table Robin and Valenthia both eat their breakfast then finish getting ready for school.
                                                       After they have finished their breakfast John walks Valenthia and Robin to school, where they are greeted by Mr and Mrs Taylor with their big smiles glad to see Robin had a wonderful night at the house Mrs Taylor looked at Robin and asks
"Did you have a good night at the Youngbloods?"
"Yeah I did thanks mum it was very informative it certainly helped with the essay"
"I'm glad well come on in and we can have a look at them"
"Yes mum" Robin replies smiling
Robin and Valenthia wave goodbye to John and goes in to the school John heads back home, Valenthia and Robin take their seats when Valenthia feels something that she hasn't felt before she looks around at the boy who is sitting at the back he wasn't there yesterday but yet he is here today Valenthia wonders where this boy came from and why he is here now, Valenthia looks back around at the front Robin senses her nervousness turns subtly looks at the boy then looks back around knowing why Valenthia is nervous Robin rubs Valenthia's arm hoping that she suspicions she is feeling isn't correct but he has a horrible feeling that it is correct. He worries for his closest friend but knows that he has no words of comfort that he can bring her so he sits by her hoping that this fear will soon disappear but the day has only just begun and that the day won't end until the school bell rings out it's final bell of the day in which Robin knows Valenthia's suspicions are only going to get worse and worse as the day goes on, Robin looks back at the boy once more noticing that he is watching Valenthia Robin looks back around to let Valenthia know but he thought best not to worry her but Valenthia senses this already she looks at Robin as she comforts her she takes a deep breath trying her best not to let it worry her hoping that the rest of the day goes smoothly and less worrysome to Valenthia it feels like that horrible dream she had is coming true but she takes deep calming breaths and starts the day with Robin by her side glad to have her best friend beside her.
