Yay! It's my 11th birthday and I get to spend it at this lovely orphanage. I just love it here (Please note the sarcasm). Damn this orphanage. My mother had left me here. Apparently she died later from 'messing with the wrong people.' As the ladies here so wonderfully told me.

I always asked about my dad. They just said that they didn't know who he was. They were never informed of him.

"Ana come down for breaky." Clara said. She is the nicest lady in the world but she's rarely ever here! She is the only reason that I'm still here in this damn orphanage.

"Coming." I reply. "And stop calling it breaky." Breaky was here stupid nickname for breakfast. I mean, come on. I'm 11 now and I am very mature. My friend Jana was always like "Ya right" or "Your right. Mature as a 3 year old." She is extremely sassy (just like me {not but whatev's}) but I am friends with here anyway.

I started to get ready. I threw on a light blue tank top, some jeans and a blue sweater. My light brown hair went to below my shoulders. I put it into quite a messy bun. Today is special. It feels special. Maybe even magical! Or maybe that's just me in my dream world. Well at least my day is starting off to a good start!

"Analiese Merope Wells!! Get your lazy butt down here." Oh no. The three names. That's how you know your in trouble.

"Coming."

"You said that last time at least 2 minutes ago."

"This time I mean it. I just had to get ready."

"Ya right."

"Ya ha."

"Ya no"

"Ya ha."

"Fine I give up just get yourself down here. I made you your favourite breakfast because it is of course your birthday."

No way. I thought. She would never make belgian waffles with chocolate chips in them. She hated going through to much trouble over breakfast. Well I guess it is my birthday.

I soon got excited at that thought. I ran out of my room and quickly slid down the banister to the first floor. I skidded to a halt when I reached the kitchen. I saw my friend Jana their eating some waffles and Clara cooking some more. There were other people who I didn't bother to learnt name of. Then I saw it.

There in front of me was a pile of waffles on it that looked like they were dotted with chocolate. Which they were. All too soon they were gone. I was sitting down when something shot through one of the windows.

It was an owl with something in its beak. Everyone in the room started screaming and panicking. The owl left as quickly as it came but this time, it left a letter. I looked at the front and was shocked. It was addressed to me. That crazy phsycotic owl dropped a letter in front of me.

I opened the letter with my shakey hands. Who's hands wouldn't shake when a strange owl comes and gives you a letter. Everyone was looking at me with anticipation.

The letter said
