I heard something. It sounded like metal on metal. I tried to sit up, but pain surged through my ribs. I laid back down to catch my breath and see where I was. The first thing I noticed was that I wasn't human, but a huge, jet-black wolf. How'd they get me to do that? And I had an electric collar on, with a leash tethered to a metal pole. It looked like I was in so e sort of storage area with several bags.... Then I heard the roaring wind outside. Holy clap...... Was I on a PLANE?
"So glad you could join us, Nautika," a male, hiding in the shadows. I tried to speak, but my mouth was clamped shut. I looked down, cross-eyed, and saw a muzzle. I must be some pain in the butt to have that. I tried to take it off, but when I did, a vibration went through my body, startling me.
"I wouldn't waste my energy, girl,"the man warned. "And if you mess with the muzzle again, trust me, you'll get more than just a zap from that collar," I could tell from his voice and heartbeat that he wasn't kidding, and I didn't want to get shocked, let alone anything else.
The man finally came out of the shadows, showing a long, red cape and a matching helmet. As hard as I tried not to, I cowered back towards a suitcase to gain distance. Wait, was that my suitcase? I must have looked really confused, because the man spoke again. "I had Azazel pack some clothes for you, seeing as you're going to be here awhile. Tomorrow,we will be at our destination, we come for you then. I'll send Mystique with food in the morning. Now, I suggest you get some rest; you'll need it," with that, he threw me a tattered blanket that smelled of mothballs and walked out, and closing the large metal door behind him, left me in total darkness. I laid my head down on the blanket, closed my eyes, and tried to figure out how I was going to escape.
