I was speechless.
I have never been speechless before, but now I am.
It was only when I came back to reality and saw I was staring at his perfection of a face I realised everyone was watching me. "What, sorry?" I said. "I was day dreaming."
"What about, me?" Joe teased.
"No..."
"I was messing"
"Oh... Haha" I guess you could tell I was on edge by the look on his face. He smiled at me, a reassuring smile.
"So you're Paige?" He said, holding out his hand. I stared at it before realising he wanted me to shake it. I took his soft hand and shook it. Smiling, I dared to look in his deep Aqua blue eyes.
"Yeah" I said. "And you are..?"
"Joe"
"I like people called Joe" as soon as I said it, I realised how pathetic it sounded and immediately wished to take it back. Without thinking I carried on. "I've never met an ugly or horrible Joe"
"Okay?" He had a slightly scared sound to his voice. "Well, I guess if you like people called Joe, I could maybe... Erm... Yanno..." I stared at him as if to encourage him to finish his sentence. I wanted to know where this was going. "Actually forget it, it doesn't matter"
"No! Please, tell me, I wanna know"
"Okay, maybe, I could show you round? I mean, if you want me to?.."
I smiled and nodded. Just as I was enjoying the moment, my bubble was popped by a loud band, coming from outside the window. It sounded like a gun being fired. Me, Lily, grace, Oliver and Joe ran over to the small window and all crowded round it to peer out.

That's when it appeared...
A face.
Not just any face.
A clown face.

It was laughing a horrible eerie laugh and blinking at us.
We all screamed and ran back, shaking with fear. It was knocking on the window, wanting to come in. I grabbed hold of Joe, shaking. He grabbed my hand and squeezed it. "It's okay, I'lol protect you." His put me at a slight bit of ease but not much. Then I remembered it. This is why I'm not a normal child. I have perfect memory recall, I can remember anything in full detail.

I hate clowns, ever since the incident and his was the exact same clown. The clown that wanted me dead a child. I thought I left it in my childhood, like it was trapped and couldn't escape. But I was wrong. It was back and this time it was t leaving until it had reached it goal.
It wanted me dead.
