We ran. That's all we could do. We ran and ran until we came to the head teachers office. We barged through the door while he just sat looked startled. We explained what had just happened and he called the police. While we were waiting for the police to arrive, we just sat in the office, trying to calm down, that's until we noticed Lily wasn't there. "Guys, where's Lily?"
"I don't know, I haven't seen her since we saw the face"
"Yeah same"
We looked around the office until we realised she wasn't in here. When the police arrived they secured and checked the premises, telling us that no one was out here but they took a few statements and said they would ave guards by my room and outside he gates. Phenomenal we told them about Lily. They searched the school, reveals she wasn't there. Everyone kinda panicked, but the police said they would take care of it and we should all get some sleep.
There was a big lake at the bottom of he school grounds, just behind the main building. It was near the science block, so we always walk past it on a Monday. As we were going down to science we saw there was a couple of ambulances, police and a fire truck there. We ran down and that's when we saw it. I fell to my knees p, sadness taking over my whole body. There was a body bag and a private ambulance, the only thing that was revealed was their feet. And it had Lily's shoes on.
