How come I haven't seen her before?
She must definitely have had her schedule changed. I swear I didn't see her before.

"For today's activity, I am asking for all of you to stand up-"
There was some groaning coming from the students. It's been 4 days of doing icebreakers and the repetitive activities were getting on everyone's nerves. Nobody wanted to interact with anyone new.

"I know, I know. Socializing sucks! So please, the faster we get over this, the more time you guys get to have time for your own. There are only 15 students, so this shouldn't take long if you all cooperate. "

The students all stood up behind their desks. Some actually enjoyed ice breakers because it was such a simple task, and could perform the bare minimum. Plus, no homework.

Others beg to differ. They despise icebreakers! Who the fuck wants to interact with new people when you can just find comfort with your old friends or even yourself? Keep your circle small, ladies and gentlemen!

Then there's the 2% of students who was in between. They liked them because the activities were simple, but they disliked talking to new people because they were more quiet and timid.

And others didn't give a fuck.

"Now. I would like you guys to pair with someone who likes the same thing as you. like a show, shoes, or I don't know a clothing brand? Whatever it is, just pair up so we can do another activity. "

The students continued chatting with their friends, who they already knew about the topics they were previously discussing before the teacher instructed them. Y/n, unfortunately, didn't really have anyone to talk to.

She knew one in her class, but the friend group they were talking to were not compatible with her personality, and she didn't want to butt in either because she knew it would be very uncomfortable trying to hold the conversation with people who didn't want to get to know her.
She just idly stood there, trying to avoid the gaze of the teacher.

From her perspective, she felt awkward standing there, believing that people were judging her for being a loner. She hoped she didn't stand out and did not want anyone to talk to her right now.

Armin was still hanging around his desk, thinking about how to approach her, nervously pushing his glasses upwards with his finger.

Did she even remember him at all from their class together?
Okay, but she had to at least remember the first time they talked.
Probably not, I didn't have glasses in middle school.

Armin's first interaction with Y/n was in the school hallways of middle school, where she was passing out flyers for a school event that was being held the 3rd week of January. The crush was later developed outside of school when Armin was in her neighborhood. He was supposed to meet his grandfather at the library, but got lost on his way there. Armin frantically went around the street, approaching the adults.
