Sonic's POV

I haven't been able to sleep lately. He's taunting me like if I was nothing to everyone. He makes me feel horrible... I hate to admit this, but it's began to catch on to me. Everyone has totally  noticed my droopy eyes I try to hide it, but it's no good. Today I was asked by Tails if I was ok. I only told him that I'm simply tired. I don't want to worry my friends, so I try my best to not pass out during the day because my fatigue. Though I have noticed lately that shadow has been more closer to me as if he wants to tell me something. I won't mention further of that for now. Tails came back a couple minutes ago to my room to give me these strange pills named "Melatonine"? Or was it "Melatonin" or was it "Meliton"? I have no clue, but he told me these are going to help me sleep well. Oh no he's back again...

Narrator's POV

Sonic walks up to his large body sized mirror to face a shadow on the other side.
"What do you want today" said Sonic in a tired shaky voice.
"I'm reminding you of how useless and pathetic you are against me. Im the better version of you and you know it." Answered the shadow figure in the mirror while he did his laugh.
"Why won't you ever leave me alone? I can't stand you anymore, you know that" said Sonic in a gulp.
"Why do you sound so afraid? I haven't done anything yet to you. Come on just listen to what I have to say~" said the shadow figure in a firm but soft toned voice. He laughed again enjoying the view of Sonic's fear that could clearly be seen in his eyes.
"Come on, you know you want to let me control you. It's happened before, remember?" Said the shadow while laughing again.
"That's in you're dreams, you've never controlled me. I'm not going to listen to you anymore." Huffed Sonic putting his hand up against the mirror.
"You know you can't run from me. Im apart of you. The better part. I could make everyone love you, but that's not going to happen because you won't let me control you damn it." Said the shadow in a fierce tone.
"I don't need love in my life. I'm a hero not no lover. I have no feelings for anyone. I don't need people to love me..." Sonic died down his voice while speaking. He began to think about it more clearly. What if he needed love in his life. Sonic shook his head and removed his gloves and put his hand on the mirror.
"Show yourself to me. I've never seen you before." Said sonic in a calm tone.
"Ah, no I will not do that yet. I will if you let me control you. Trust me, I would get all the love from the people and your so called friends. Im better, so let me control you" said the shadow dodging the question.
"I WILL NEVER LET YOU CONTROL ME YOU GOT THAT. I WONT LISTEN TO YOU. UGH YOU ARE JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE WHO TRIES TO TALK ME DOWN" Sonic said angered and tired. Sonic was about to punch the mirror, but he passed out of the melatonin.
"I'll kill you when I have the chance and I'm going to kill all you're friends." Chuckled the shadow while it disappeared from the mirror
