Tails's POV

Shadow attacked us for no reason and he is after Sonic what on earth can we do? I can't track the communicator device on Sonic's arm. Has Shadow found him already? Is Sonic in danger?! I need to hurry fast. Knuckles is recovering with Amy.
"Sticks we need to go stop Shadow" I said as I turned on my tornado.
"Is Sonic ok?! He hasn't even shown up to the fight!" Exclaimed Sticks as she got on the tornado and buckled her belt.
"He's most likely fighting right now. He's not in the best state to be fighting he should be resting those Melatonin gummies are going to mess him up" I yelled as I turned the tornado into the air to find Sonic.
"I think I see them!" Yelled Sticks as she pointed down towards Sonic's shack.
"alright I got it! We're headed down hold on tight!" I yelled as I began to turn the plane downwards.
I landed the plane swiftly. Sticks immediately got out and began to run towards the shack but she stopped dead in her tracks.
"Tails...." She paused as her eyes were widely opened
"I think he's dead." Sticks said in a calm voice as she covered her mouth in horror.
"What are you talking about?!" I asked Sticks as I ran up behind her and I peeked to see what it was.
Shadow and Sonic were sitting underneath the tree and Sonic looks lifeless on Shadow's lap.
"What the...." I tried to calm down. I couldn't help but feel angry. Was Sonic really dead? Or is it the melatonin and they just now took the effect. WHY IS SHADOW CARESSING HIM? As I was about to pull Sticks back to plan an attack she had already taken charge as she screamed running towards Shadow.
"YOU MONSTER YOU KILLED SONIC" screamed Sticks as she was about to bash Shadow on the head.
"STICKS WAIT HES GOING TO KILL YOU IF YOU TOUCH HIM HE HAS NO REMORSE FOR US" I screamed as I ran trying to stop Sticks. She swung her stick at full force towards Shadow's head. Shadow stopped it with one hand as he still had his hand on Sonic.
"What the hell are you doing badger." Said Shadow glaring at Sticks.
"YOU KILLED SONIC YOU BASTARD" screamed Sticks.
"I didn't kill him are you crazy?" Said Shadow as he took the stick from The badger's hand and threw it to the side.
"Why are you with him then? What did you do to him and why are your ears bleeding?!" I gasped as I went to check Sonic's pulse to find that he's perfectly fine.
"My ears are bleeding?" Asked Shadow confused. I watched as he touched his ear and he looked at his glove covered in the light colored blood. He looked like he had been scared out of his soul.
"Shadow so tell me. What did you do to Sonic?" I was about to shake Sonic awake, but Shadow stopped me.
"I didn't do anything to him. I teleported into his place and he was twisting and turning his ears were twitching like crazy. I woke up screaming and he began to tear up. I hid from him wondering why the hell he was crying, but he spotted me. I confronted him about our unfinished business. He was going to tell me something but he passed out. Then...." Shadow was talking then he went quiet for a moment I could tell shadow was being serious he looked scared.
"I heard knocking on the mirror. I looked back and I seen a pair of deep gory eyes. Then not even a couple seconds later a loud cackle came from the mirror. It was so loud my ears felt like bleeding, but they actually are. I don't know what's in that mirror but it's something dangerous" sighed Shadow as he looked at Sonic sleeping quietly in his lap.
"I don't believe you." Scoffed Sticks as she picked up her stick once again.
"It sounds convincing, but I sort of agree with Sticks." I said as I shook Sonic to wake up.

Narrator's POV

Sonic woke up in a panic to what was going on.
"What happened did I miss a fight?! Burrrr it's so cold man who turned down the air conditioning" said Sonic as he looked around.
"Where is Ames and Knuckles?" Sonic asked as he sat up straight embarrassed of what had happened.
"Ask Shadow he should know what he's done!" Exclaimed Sticks in an upset tone. Shadow turned away not daring to look at Sonic in the eyes.
"Shadow? Tell him." Said Tails as he flapped his tails to get the remaining dust off.
"Sonic I want to apologize. I didn't mean to hurt your friend" said Shadow still not looking at Sonic eyes.
"You did what?" Asked Sonic a little confused because he didn't understand him.
"I beat knuckles up and I threw Amy." Said Shadow in a small voice.
"I don't know what to sat about that." Sat Sonic staring blankly.
"Why aren't we fighting him?! He deserves to be beat" yelled Sticks.
"How about we just leave it like this. Everything is confusing" said Tails as he stared at Shadow.
"Tell me Sonic. Did the melatonin work? Your eyes they seem gloomy. Try to rest more" mentioned Tails as he helped Sonic up.
"I'm not tired I promise! I don't know what you mean by my eyes they're completely ok! I promise!" Said Sonic as he laughed nervously.
"Alright if you say so" said Tails. It went silent for a couple moments. Shadow finally stood up and stared at Sonic's emerald gloomy eyes begin to lose its color a bit. Shadow skated off in a dash.

Days passed.
Sonic's POV

God just leave me alone. Why would I do that now? Because I said so? How the hell did you even get in my head even? Why can't you like leave me alone are you obsessed with me like Amy is? No. I'm not like Amy. Never the less though. You could be with her or... tear her apart into pieces you know you want her gone you also want the Badger gone too you want them all dead hahahaha I know you too well. The hell you mean by that?! I don't want them dead I love my friends. You're insane I'm not insane I'm you. You aren't insane. Come on let me control you I'll show you some real action and love especially with Amy or Shadow. You are sick you know that. Are you implying that you are going to rape them or something. You sick piece of garbage. JUST TELL ME WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU! Just look at them they're eating they're good but if I took control they'd be eating eachothers brains I will rule this place I will get what I want.
"YOURE INSANE" I yelled talking to myself out loud. Everyone turned to look at me.
"Sonic are you alright?" Asked Amy.
"Yea I'm fine Ames I was just you know thinking of some things haha..." I laughed nervously as I took a bite out of my chili dog. That damn shadow thing made me un-appatized. All I could taste was blood down my throat I wanted to throw it up but I held against it. You're willing to eat it even with all that blood down your throat AHAHAHAHAHAHA PATHETIC LOSER ILL JUST HAVE TO GET RID OF YOU SO I CAN DO MY THING HAHAHHAHA. You monster. I hate you so damn much you DEMON. Ah yes a demon indeed. It's a nice way to put it for me. I'll control you as soon as you have you're guard down. Hah in your dreams you monster. You are seriously underestimating me.

Narrator's POV

"Sonic? Hellooo you there" said knuckles as he waved his hand over Sonic's face.
"He is probably day dreaming" said Amy as she took a bite out of her burger.
"SONIC SNAP BACK TO US YOUR FOOD IS GETTING COLD" screamed sticks as she was taking the top off of her drink getting ready to throw it on Sonic. Shadow was casually walking through the village and his ears caught the voice of Sticks so he walked over without being noticed. He sat at the table over. No one noticed him. The team tried to snap Sonic back to reality. They stopped after a bit and agreed he was sleeping with his eyes opened. Shadow kept looking over to Sonic. Shadow had a little pain in his chest to see his eyes look so dull.
Moments passed. Sonic wasn't breathing at that point but no one noticed because they were chatting until they stopped talking. The next moment Sonic snapped back choking out all his food with blood covered all over it. Sonic was panting to the loss of breathe and he grabbed his drink and poured the drink out and he coughed out lots of blood filling the cup. Everyone was so surprised they immediately picked sonic up and began to run towards the nearest place to get help. Shadow seen the whole thing and he immediately got up and ran over to them.
Knuckles was carrying Sonic and he spotted Shadow
"SHADOW RIGHT NOW ISNT A GOOD TIME TO FIGHT SO GO AWAY" yelled Knuckles as he kept running.
"I'm not here to fight. Hand him over I'm faster than all of you once you guys get to the doc he'll be dead" Shadow said as he grabbed Sonic from knuckles. Shadow pushed knuckles and ran To the nearest place to get help.
"S-Shadow? Why are you helping me again?" Said Sonic as he kept coughing up blood covering shadow's chest fur with blood.
"Shadow I don't want to die. He's killing me." Said Sonic as he slowly closed his eyes and he kept muttering that he didn't want to die.
"Sonic calm down don't close your eyes for peet's sake please keep yourself awake" said Shadow as he was talking to the doc.
Sonic lost his consciousness and stayed that way for a whole week. He recovered slowly. Everyone was worried for him. The worst was about to come for Sonic.
