It had been about 7 years since Yoriichi's demise and Asta had changed a lot in these years. He had mastered everything that Yoriichi knew and had also discovered that he had gained a lot of abilities from that blue flower that he had consumed all those years ago.
Asta had learnt to change the colours on his blade. He had grown cold and calculative, always keeping his composure and remaining calm in all situations.
He had also started farming to help the people of the church and had also started helping the villagers with all the necessary help he could provide. He was now 5ft 10 and had quite a muscular body.
He and Yuno still had their rivalry, wanting to be the wizard king and change the world for the better. Yuno had also grown to be as tall as Asta and his magical powers too, now he was no longer that cry baby, who would always cry.
Yuno's attitude was similar to Asta's, he now had started training regressive to match up to his rival in terms of power and strength.
Asta started living on his own in Yoriichi 's hut trying to be as close to his master and not forget his memories. Asta and Yuno now had been sparring every weak trying to increase their fighting skills.

Today was the day that they would get their grimoires and would start their journey to become the wizard king.
Asta and Yuno had entered the grimoire tower and watched in awe seeing the grimoires and how huge the tower was. It was as if the tower would reach the heavens and God would bless the people with heavenly magic.
An old man introduced himself as Drouot, the master of the grimoire tower. It was a wonder how he could talk with such a big moustache and that long beard, not mention that the old man looked very fragile.
"Extend your arms and let your magic flow and the grimoire would choose you automatically," Drouot said as every who was there to receive their grimoire did as they were told.
A golden aura washed through the people in the tower as they turned to see a four-leaf clover reach Yuno as he held it in his hand and declared "I would become the wizard king" Yuno said as the people from Hage village cheered but before they could celebrate a dark aura washed over the entire tower and people turned to see a five-leaf clover grimoire with an ominous aura reach Asta.
