Ranjith had not been the most happiest of persons to actually have the Ramachandra around in his house again. He tried his level best to make sure to get hold of him before he reaches, Kerala. All his efforts in vain as he switched to another number to escape this.
He had not been a great fan of Jai as well since he thought he lusts over her only for her wealth. One can never be sure of anybody's intentions. Ranjit had seen the duo go into the terrace, when he sent his boo Jayasree to keep them apart.
" Mama, he has taken chechi to terrace today, now what? "
"Now what, we've sent her back to that Jay. Let's see how this goes" He says and walks towards the terrace while Jayasree goes off to her achan's room. He comes and stands quietly behind Ram.
He turns to him and says "oh hello there"
Ranjith scoffs and nods
"I suppose this is the best place in the house"
"Yes, indeed when you are with my niece" Says The latter
"Yes, I see this as a sign, a sign which has brought Jaanu to invite me to her place"
" More like invite you to her marriage " Corrected Ranjith
"That holds of no importance to me, I feel that we are meant to be" He says and looks upto the sky
"That's how you might perceive this, I feel that this is the time when you finally pay off for all the sins you've done" Said Ranjith and smirked.
"I'm not intimidated by any of these, I feel a connect to Jaanu and that has brought me to her even after 10 years" He says calmly and walks off
Jayasree
Mama has some how succeeded in blocking their interaction. I still have my doubts regarding the whole situation. If that guy is actually a criminal, how in the world is even roaming free?
I mean that sounds stupid but why is my intuition pricking me on this. I think about all of these as I enter achan's room
I find him near the window staring outside. I go and stand next to him. He doesn't even look at me and says
"Looks like a storm is coming"
"Huh!" I look outside and feel chilly breez blowing.
"Yeah, I feel that too" I say gingerly
"What is it? " He asks as I fiddle with my fingers. I'm extremely confused as to how to break this news to him
"Is it that Ramachandra came? " He asks and I get shocked .
"I know that as well, there nothing to worry about. I think he won't be of any difficulty for us" He says
"But that doesn't mean that he'll go Scott free this time" He says with a dark expression. I get a bit apprehensive as I've never seen achan talk like this
"What do you mean" I ask
"He'll pay for making my daughter's life a living hell, and for killing Nikhil" He says
"He killed Nikhil , what even is that" I exclaim.
"Yes, now this is something that I don't want you to be worried about" He says
"But, I want to know! He's my niece , till this day I've been thinking that he got killed in the shootings that happened in Seattle that day" I say.
"He's is very well connect to that, now go to bed, as the wedding is in two days and we have many people to meet tomorrow" he says. I sigh and head back to my room
