Pansy and Blaise could do nothing but stare after the couple as they walked up the stairs, presumably to speak with each other, but there was...Pansy had some reservations, teeth slightly chattering from how much she was shaking all of a sudden for seemingly no reason. She lifted a tense hand towards Blaise, causing the other to turn and look at her with curious eyes. She grit her teeth as she stared at the stairs. "What is it?" Blaise questioned, tilting his head as he stared at her staring at the stairs. "Hey," Blaise snatched her shoulders and turned her to face him.
"I just...I am curious as to whether we really fixed anything." Pansy muttered under her breath, glancing towards the stairs once more. Blaise stared at her, thinking about what she was stating when he thought on it, it made some sense. Tom had seemed quite irritated with them, and now that he was taking Draco upstairs...Blaise sighed softly. He did not know what to really say to that but he had to admit that Pansy had a point. There was some worry about what Tom was going to do, but they could not very well just barge in to figure that out either.
"I...don't know, at the very least he is talking to Draco now, though what it is...That is debatable." Blaise admitted with a sigh, though he was not really sure what more he could have done. Pansy and him were lucky enough that Tom had decided to reign himself in, though it was dangerous enough confronting Tom, and they may have possibly led Draco to a more complex situation than it was previously, but at the very least the two would have to talk. It was better than what they were dealing with now, with that subtle tension leaking through everywhere. He was not wrong either because at the end of the day it was difficult for the Slytherins to really go around functioning when their two core people were at each other's throats...metaphorically of course.
"True," Pansy sighed softly. "I suppose there is not much more that we can do." She shrugged. "We talked, I just don't know that he heard what we were saying. That was the difficult part. As much as we may say things, Draco's man does not really seem all that keen to be told what to do." She bit her lower lip, eyes once more glancing towards he stairway. "What...What happens if he did get angry? You don't...you don't think he would take it out on Draco would he?" Blaise' brows furrowed at the question. Anxiety began to toll through his body.
"I don't know, actually. He may but at the same time who knows? At the very least he seems quite protective of Draco, so it is possible that he won't do anything physically harmful to him. The best that we can do is check Draco over like we used to when he was around Lucius, after Draco is alone. Though trying to get him alone and away from his friend may be a potential problem."
"Least..." Blaise shook his head. He knew that Draco knew what he was doing, he would never put himself in a situation that he did not understand, but there were times...there were times that these things were pushed either way. Where Draco had little to no choice, and what little choice he did have was pretty much drastic to the extremes. They were used to these sorts of choices, most pureblood traditional families were. They just...these were normal things they dealt with on the daily. It was just...Tom and Draco's relationship seemed....weird at least. "I am not entirely sure." Blaise sighed out. "Pansy, come here." He turned Pansy around, to stare at her and meet her eyes. "What is really going on? There is something more to this than what you are telling me."
"I just don't know how I feel about this guy. I know they seem nice, and they seem great, but..." Pansy paused, her voice trailing off.
"What? What is it?" Blaise pushed causing Pansy to slump slightly.
"Draco has never really been affected by Alpha's before." She whispered softly. Blaise hummed. "Is it not troublesome that all of a sudden an Alpha shows up to take care of Draco?" She turned narrowed eyes towards the dorms upstairs. "It just seems a bit too convenient to me." She muttered.
"You think that there is, what some sort of underlying thing going on? Draco is what? Being used? If that were the case why is Tom so concerned over Draco's safety. As many reservations as we may have, Tom has been doing good by Draco." Blaise huffed, narrowing his eyes at Pansy. "I know you are protective of Draco, but there is nothing that Draco has not approved himself, we have been restoring Slytherin and forcing the school to come to terms with their bias...I don't see how this is a bad thing." Blaise began, getting actively frustrated. He may not think Tom was all that either, but at the end of the day he did not think they had much to talk badly about when it came to the Alpha that Draco had chosen.
"I just think it is a bit weird, is all." BLaise sighed, he should not be getting on Pansy for this sort of thing. She has her reasons to worry, even I was worried when Tom decided to take Draco upstairs. Sure he was being kind of hypocritical. One couldn't be worried and then advocate for exactly what they were worried about claiming it would never happen. However, it would do nothing to make Pansy worry more.

"my lord!" Draco yelped as Tom shoved him into their dorm room, closing the door behind them rather roughly. He huffed, ripping his arm away from the Alpha, turning to glare at him. He closed his eyes upon realizing what he was doing, breathing heavily, trying to figure out something that would calm himself down. "I...I am sorry." He muttered under his breath.
"It is fine," Tom said softly, pulling his chin up by his nail hugging the skin of his flesh. "However, you friends need to learn their place, I cannot have them disrespecting me like that." He said gently. Draco's jaw dropped slightly, held in place only by the push of Tom's nail against the flesh of his chin.
"T-Tom surely there is no need for that." Draco whispered softly, knowing full well that if Tom pushed for it there was little anyone would be able to do, least of all himself. "I just...I think they have been worried about me," He said his shoulders dropping, his eyes flickering to and fro between meeting Tom's gaze and otherwise. "For a while now actually."
"Oh? And why is this?" Tom wondered aloud, though Draco could detect the slightly sarcastic lilt to his voice.
"I...may or may not have been slightly overworking myself trying to figure out our plan of action." Draco admitted softly. "In my defense, it is going extremely well, so those were hours well spent, but Blaise and Pansy have become really worried about it. In the end, this is sort of my fault, not theirs." He admitted with a small voice. He felt bad, really that his friends had gotten dragged into this for no reason now. Tom sighed.
"I suppose, perhaps...they have a point too. We should talk."
