ONE LAST TIME - stuck up in a conditional marriage

The next day was normal for you. You didn't take any leave and went to the office. Jimin informed you of your whole schedule which was mostly empty.

So you worked on the files and pending works. You didn't even notice the time and kept working, forgetting about your lunch. Jimin brought you lunch and ate it while working.

Yoongi drove to your office after finishing his work at 4 pm. He entered the office and removed his mask. Employees who were walking around saw him and started drooling over him.

The receptionist's eyes gleamed up seeing Yoongi.

"Hello sir" she bowed

"Hello. Is Y/n available right now?" Yoongi asked.

"Just a minute sir"

She dialed Jimin and asked him about you. When she confirmed that you were free, she ended the call.

"Yes sir, Ms.Kim is available. Shall I assist you to her floor?" She asked Yoongi.

"No thanks. And...it's Mrs.Min, not Ms.Kim" Yoongi walked away as he tucked his hand into his pant pockets.

He reached the floor your office was on and walked into your office. You didn't even observe the door being opened and closed.

Yoongi sat in front of you on the chair placed in front of your table.

"Hey..."

You shot your head up and looked at him. Upon seeing him, the fight you both had the previous day flashed in front of you.

You didn't know how to greet him now or start a conversation. You felt awkward for the first time. Nevertheless, you decided to speak up.

"Hey...umm...work done for today?" You asked.

"Yes. What about you?" He asked you back.

"Almost done," you replied.

"Ummm....mom invited us for dinner. Are you free this evening?" Yoongi asked you.

You were tired. So much that you just wanna go and sleep for the whole day but upon seeing his cute face asking you like a kid, you didn't know what happened to you but you answered him

"Yes, I'm free"

"Ahh, thank you. I thought you'd get angry 'cause I didn't inform you earlier" Yoongi sighed and gave you a big smile.

"I don't get angry for small things," you replied.

"Then why aren't you smiling now?" Yoongi pouted.

"Just a bit tired" you waved your hand.

Shoot, that was a big mistake. You shouldn't have told him that. And the next hour, he kept asking you if he could cancel the dinner and take you home.

And the moment he asked it for the 100th time, you stood up, your chair flying behind you.

"Min Yoongi, I already told you 99 times that I'm alright with the dinner. I'm not gonna pass out for all you know" you shouted

"But..your health-

"I'm not gonna die today. Take it easy, man" you sighed.

"Don't say such words" he stated calmly.

You looked at him and saw his face. He was pissed by your statement, but you couldn't care less.

"Alright then shut up and let me finish my work" you rolled your eyes.
