"Y/n ah, I can explain" Yoongi stated.

"Don't worry, I took care of everything" you replied.

"W-what?" Yoongi was confused

"Didn't you see the news a while ago?" You asked him.

"No, I didn't," Yoongi replied as he flushed his mobile out of his pocket.

He scrolled through the e-news and found the article published by dispatch. He opened it and read the news of Manager Cha apologizing for the false accusation.

"See...the problem is solved" you smiled.

"Wait....and this was done by you and not our agency?" Yoongi asked you.

"Trust me, your agency is too slow. Also, they don't have much power over dispatch" you replied.

"And how did you do this?" He asked.

"You ask too many questions, Yoongi. Why? Don't you trust me?" You faked your pout.

"No, no. That's not it" Yoongi went quiet.

Yoongi sighed loudly. You understood how stressed he must've been. Obviously, anyone wouldn't want their other halves to misunderstand them.

"I and IU are working on a soundtrack. That's the reason why we met" Yoongi stated.

"Alright," you nodded.

"And the reason why we held hands was that she was about to slip due to her heels, so I held her. That's it, nothing else" Yoongi explained.

"Okay, Yoongi. I didn't ask you this" you held his hand.

"No, I had to say. I don't want any misunderstanding between us. I and IU are just friends" Yoongi stated.

"Alright, don't think much about it. IU's agency also released the statement, denying the article" you said.

"Oh, I didn't talk to her," Yoongi shrugged.

"Come on, call her. She must be worried about you" you encouraged him.

Yoongi hesitated but you snatched his mobile and searched for IU's contact number. Once you found out the number saved as Ji Eun(IU), you pressed the call icon.

The call went on ringing for a while and finally, IU picked up. You immediately gave the mobile to Yoongi, gesturing to him to talk.

Yoongi talked to her and by hearing the conversation, you understood that everything was fine. IU didn't care much about the rumors but she was actually worried about you.

Yoongi and her are close friends. So it's obvious that Yoongi must've talked to her about you. In fact, Yoongi never stopped talking about you when the topic came up.

"Can I talk to her?" IU asked Yoongi during the call.

"Sure" Yoongi gave you the mobile.

Me? You whispered.

Go on, she's waiting Yoongi whispered back.

"Hello," you said politely.

"Hey Y/n, how are you?" IU asked

"I'm fine. How about you? Did your agency say anything to you after reading the article today?" You asked her.

"No, no. Rumors like these are common. We don't care much. In fact, I'm worried about you" she replied.

"Me?"
