AN: Day 4 - Injury
Set on the same universe as day 2 and day 3, the last one of the bunch. This occurs during the events of day 2.

I rushed to the university after the call I received. When I was inside the campus, I called her again to know where exactly they were. Good thing she picked up immediately or I might have just ran around the campus like a headless chicken.
She told me they were at the quad near their building. So to the quad I went.
Huffing and puffing, I watched the large group of students in the distance doing strenuous activities under the blazing sunlight. They were counting out loud, shouting the numbers, and I could sense the frustration in their voices. I stood there for a while as I caught my breath, then began to skirt around them at a safe distance. It was a good thing I was wearing my white polo shirt today so I didn't stand out too much from the crowd of college students.
I made my way towards the tent set up in front of the bleachers, intent on finding Prae without any of the hazers recognizing me. I needed my intel before I faced the problem itself.
I found her among the other uniformed thirds years with armbands on their biceps to signify their role as the medical team. I hissed out her name, planning to only get her attention but failed spectacularly when not only her but the whole medical team turned in my direction.
Silent squeals, which would've been loud ones had I not shushed them immediately, rang around their group at the sight of me. Then the varied teasing came; about the wife coming to visit his husband; or in some case, misbehaving husband– which made me curious; there was also the speculation that I was there to ogle my very hot husband– like seriously, why was I the wife?!
Prae only shook her head as she beckoned me over. I shushed them as I passed by them, and they were alerted to the fact that this was a surprise visit on my part. She grabbed my arm when I was near her, dragging me away from eavesdropping ears with herculean strength. My wrist was definitely hurting.
"Prae, Prae. What happened? Is he okay?" was my urgent but silent question.
"P', calm down. I was told that he injured his hand while playing basketball."
"What?! Again? What type of injury this time?"
I was thinking maybe I should ban him from playing basketball. It was not too long ago that I rushed to campus yet again for the same reason. He wasn't that clumsy so how was he hurting himself like this so much?
"Maybe sprained wrist. He was also limping a little bit a while ago so he might also have sprained his ankle. I don't exactly know, P'."
Memories of the time when I had to fetch him from the basketball court during his first year flashed through my mind, when I had to carry him, and that other one just two weeks ago when I had to support him to the clinic. I would've carried him bridal style that time but I had to be conscious of the prying eyes of his juniors he was trying to haze.
"Then what is he doing, standing under the sun?!" I hissed at the younger.
"Well... you know how steadfast he is about responsibility, right, P'Arthit?" answered Prae uncertainly.
Oh, I knew about that. I knew it very well so I could only sigh in frustration. I decided to wait for the hazing to be finished to check on the younger. The need to examine him for any injuries made me antsy and impatient. It was amazing that I hadn't dragged him from the field myself. What self-control I had.
