" Hey I gotta go to this stupid dance because of my football team" I told Ali over the phone.

" Awww I'm going to miss you Shane" Ali responded.

"Bye Ali I'm really going to miss you 2" I told her and then hung up.

I still can't believe her dad has woken up from the hospital yet. I feel so bad I wish I could be there for her so badly. All I can think about is holding and loving her and I don't know if I want to be having these feelings again. I traveled out of my thought when I got a call from Ariana " Hello" I said

Ariana Pov

"Omg omg I am so excited Jai is picking me up right now" I screamed to Shane over the phone.

" I'm really happy for you, Ari, but please don't hop on him this early" Shane teased me.

" No promises, omg he's here gotta go bye ShanyPoo" I told him.

" Wait Ariana you're joking about he promising thing righ-" I cut him off the line before he could finish the sentence. I'm not intending on hopping on anyone, after all I am a virgin. I just want to give Shane a hard time. Jai knocked on my door and my mom opened it.

"Oh Mom don't embarrass me please" I begged her.

My mom opened the door and got out her camera and snapped a picture right in his face. I saw Jai squinting and rubbing his eyes from the flash. Oh gosh it's over.

"Jai, I'm sorry about her, I think she's a little crazy" I told him.

He giggled " Oh I'm sure she's just a wonderful women"

" Oh Jai you're doing great with the first impressions towards my mom"

" I mean it, nice to meet you Mrs. Maze. I'm Jai, Jai Brooks.

" You have an adorable accent, Jai. What nationality are you?" My mom asked Jai.

" Oh god mom please just take the picture of us and lets carry on with are day" I begged my mom.

" Ariana, relax I am just having a conversation with your mother. And I'm Australian born and raised. Just moved to the U.S, 2 years ago. I as well have a twin brother, Luke" Jai explained.

" Wow how very interesting, Jai. I'm very glad you're taking my daughter to the Halloween dance. Now I know it's not prom but this is my baby's first date and I need to capture this moment" My mom said.

"Mom" I scolded.

Why did my mom seriously just tell him this is my first date. Jai gave me a look when she said that.

" What , honey. Come on get closer to your date" My mother ordered.

Jai put his arm around the top of my back and I put my head slightly on his shoulder and then my mom snapped the picture. (The picture is at the top of them)

Savannha and I walked into the gym entering the dance. The music was loud and the decorations were pretty much on point.

"Wow this is pretty cool. The decorations are amazing" Savannha told me.

" Yeah, can I get you some punch my lady" I joked.

" Ha ha very funny, but I don't want Shane to get the wrong message" Savannha said.

" He can't even hear us. Take a joke and lighten up, it's a party" I told her.
